Sonic X iDTV game

Post by big_smile »

:FUK: Sonic leaps onto another gaming platform with the launch of his first iDTV (interactive Digital Television) game. Titled Sonic X Bowling, the game is available exclusively in the UK on the Fox Kids Play iDTV service. As the name implies, it is based around the Sonic X license as opposed to the gaming original.

Unfortunately, the designers didn’t draw on the Sonic Café bowling game for inspiration. Instead, they re-used a previous iDTV bowling game and added a few images from the Sonic Team supervised anime.

Up to 4 people can play in one of three tournaments for the low price of 60p a session. Beating any of the tournaments will unlock free play mode, which allows all the modes to be enjoyed at no charge. A free to access practice level is also available.

Other games, including Sonic Tennis, are planned for the coming months. Fox Kids Play is available via Telewest and Play Jam on Sky Digital.

I would hope not... especially with phrases like "once you've learnt the best way to play".

Wow.

Learnt is correct, actually. Learnt and learned are both acceptable.

Heh, like he has a choice. SEGA/Sonic Team gives out licences too easily.

Most iDTV games, especially Fox Kids Play games, are just as bad.
