I actually love the idea the Knuckles just has a pathological desire to beat the crap out of Sonic and just uses the "oh uh I was tricked again" story as a cover-up.
On a completely unrelated note (about great games), What does make Halo so good? For me it's just another first-person shooter.
The Multiplayer, mostly. If you want to get down and dirty on what it really is, though - Halo 1 and 2 are basically Goldeneye with larger worlds, better graphics, and vehicles.
Lies. I never liked Goldeneye. I hated the control scheme, especially having to hold down a button to manually aim the gun. Goldeneye may have been revolutionary for its time, but it has nothing on Halo's multiplayer now.
You still have to aim with Halo and Halo 2. The game would totally suck without auto aiming though, try playing a game of Halo 2 against your teammate. It's really freaking hard. Until they develop a way to aim that is as good as a mouse the auto aimer thing is mandatory.
What makes Halo 2 so good is its just a really fun multiplayer game. It is basically just a standard FPS that doesn't really do anything wrong. Except for the things that it does wrong.

Mmmh... HALO is just a good multyplayer game, but a lame single-player game. At least the first HALO... I mean... ALL THE ROOMS LOOK THE SAME!!! IS SO FUCKING AWESOME AND REALISTIC!!! Bah...
And about Tails, Sonic, and Knuckles...
It's obvious Knuckles's game is after Sonic's game, you bitchaaz!!!

After you beat Mecha Sonic with Knuckles, wasn't there a sequence during the credits where the island started floating upwards again? If this is not my imagination then it might explain a few things.
I have no idea what you two are talking about. In Halo 1 you couldn't use the banshee in multiplayer and in Halo 2 you can't use the Scorpion so you could never have flown one into the other.
