Sonic Heroes hits the one million mark in Europe

Post by big_smile »

The one millionth copy of Sonic Heroes was recently sold in Europe making it one of the most successful Sonic games in recent times.

Speaking to Kikizo, Mike Hayes, Managing Director at Sega Europe said "The phenomenal success of Sonic Heroes demonstrates that the Sonic The Hedgehog brand is stronger now than ever.

We are proud that our legendary mascot has retained his mass-market appeal, an integral element of the continuing multiplatform growth of the European arm of Sega."

I always went against Sonic Heroes "I hate it and hate it", even tough I never played it. I played it in a store last week. And...
I wasn't deceptioned!! Yes, the stages are a little way too long and there's hard-to-avoid holes here and there, but the team work gimmick is awesome! It's just a shame we can't climb walls with Knuckles, but I tought it was worth buying anyway. And the most amazing...is that I played and liked the PS2 VERSION!!! I'll have the GC version pretty soon, so I'm already excited. But thanks for warning me of the defects folks, it was nice to play the game without bad surprises. Thanks!!

That's pretty lame that mediocre stuff like Sonic Heroes does so well, while Sega's other incredible titles don't.

I'm torn between making a post about the sadness in Sega's marketshare and making a post about people who can't form sentences.
So, I'll mark one portion A and one portion B.
A: Well, after a point, you can't keep everyone happy. I mean, is it better to sell a mediocre product that more people can enjoy, or a great product that less people will enjoy?
B: HA-HA.

It's the embodiment of every mute RPG main character in existence, seeking vengeance on the speaking.

I am offended by that statement, as I was displeased by Sonic Heroes yet I am not homosexual. However, I can't speak for my fellow GHZers.

It'd be cool if we had a country devoted to nothing but fucking 24-7.

Every day of the week, it's Fucking Day. Even the lonely bastards with nothing to fuck are supplied fucking buddies through government programs.

People say religion and fear are the most effective ways of controlling people's behavior, but if you add fucking to the mix... brother, it ain't even close.
