More Japanese Gaming Shows

Post by big_smile »

ImageThe Sega exhibitions continue this month, with events at the WPC Expo and the Wonder Goo store.

A massive section dedicated to PSOBB will be on display at the WPC Expo, which incidentally will be the only Sega game at the show. Visitors will receive a copy of the game and this pocket strap:

Sega will be holding a game party at the opening of Japanese popular retail chain, the Wonder Goo store.

Visitors will be able to take part in a PS2 Puyo Puyo tournament to compete for the following prizes:

So who's going to be the first to make a dirty joke involving "Wonder Goo"?

Are puyos actually supposed to be beans or goo or just generic heads or what? I've been confused about that for a long time.

Most of 'em are cute. But the one with the tail disturbs me.

I doubt that the fact that they were called "beans" in Dr. Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine really has any relevance, b'cuz y'no, that was Dr. Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine, the Americanized version of Puyo Pop. I think it would be safer not to question what they are or what they're made of and just conclude that Puyos are Puyos.

I think they're technically supposed to be blobs of goo. They're like the generic "slime" enemy of the Madou Monogatari series.

Rulue is hot.

I bet she's got symbotic puyos living underneath the skin in her chest, feeding off of her excess fluids.
