Not that it would be worth it, it might be one of those super fancy special limited collector's editions all the big games have these days.

Well The Beatles Rockband is 249.99 and that sells. It costs more than some of the systems it is on.

Beatles Rock Band also isn't a rehash of a couple of already-existing compilations that you can get all of for the cost of, like, $30, all things considered.

Yeah, Beatles Rock Band is an unrehashed pile of gay shit for faggots.

Maybe if Sonic were also larger than Jesus.

I remember seeing a short article in an old EGM about Christian advertisements in some print media or other that would show things like Sonic touching fingers with God or a picture of Mario next to Jesus that says "does your child want to be a carpenter or a plumber?" (completely confusing whether or not "carpenter" refers to Mario's early career or Jesus' dad). Apparently children were showing a little too much reverence for Mario and Sonic in 1992. I can't find any mention of this online, I was going to link it and say "oh, I guess he is!" but sometimes things just don't work out how you'd like.

I bet if you looked in the right places you could score most of the Beatles' discography for about that much.

Probably, but would you be able to play it on Rock Band?

...although, to be blunt, I couldn't give a rat's ass about Rock Band and would much rather just have the music.

Why don't you just get the complete discography that was just released, then? It's about the same price as the game with the accessories.

I probably would, if I really, really had to have every Beatles song ever released.

That being said, I don't, so...

Then buy one the the two (rather complete) compilation disks.

Actually there are six compilations dicks, 2 in the blue albun, 2 in the red albun and 2 in the white albun. Skip the white unless you really have to get blackbird... most of the songs there suck!

I think the Castlevania reverse upside down mode might be the rumored Fremme Neppa Venette mode, where SEGA puts it's game down, flip it and reverse it. Is it worth it? Let them work it. I just hope they shave their chocha before I go down like a vulture.

I concur. It may very well be the only worthwhile thing Arcade has contributed to the board.

Guys, guys, guys, you're looking at this the wrong way.

"Six compilations dicks" should be Arcade's title. He is more than worthy of such an honor.

You guys in your newfound lust for compilation dicks skipped over the equally lulzy "albun", potentially more lulzy than compilation dicks because HE SPELT IT THE SAME WAY THREE TIMES. Aw, who am I kidding. Dicks. :3

DICKS IN A BUN!

In another leak it looks like another Sonic collection is on the way. The following is listed as being included:
n/a SONIC THE HEDGEHOG (GAME)
n/a SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 (GAME)
n/a SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3 (GAME)
n/a SONIC & KNUCKLES (GAME)
n/a KNUCKLES IN SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 (GAME)
n/a KNUCKLES IN SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3 (GAME)
00:00:45:00 SONIC CHRONICLES - THE DARK BROTHERHOOD (VIDEO)
00:03:05:00 THE HISTORY OF SONIC (VIDEO)
n/a SONIC ART (IMAGE GALLERY)
00:05:15:00 SONIC CLASSIC COLLECTION CREDITS
n/a GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE
It's hard to get excited about yet another Sonic collection anyway but that sounds incredibly barebones. The main theory I've read is that it's probably going to be a DS game which I guess makes sense considering these games are available in some form for the home consoles.

I am all about any Sonic ports on the DS. As long as they aren't like Sonic Genesis.

So it's Sonic Jam Lite? Eh, if they're making an equivalent to that, it should be on PSP where they have room for quite a bit more than that, and I would think the opportunity for better emulation quality (wishful thinking).

There is also an "Ultimate Ren and Stimpy" DVD set in the works. That's where they sell you stuff you already bought, but add some crap to it.
Just replace the title with 'Sonic Classics Collection'.

Too bad SEGA cannot be as honest as these guys.

Although if they do change the games up a bit like with Sonic Jam, I would consider it.

No "Get Blue Spheres"?

Incidentally, friend of mine once wondered why they didn't just call them "Balls" instead of "Spheres". Then she was like, "Oh!".

Most games had been programmed overseas by the Japanese, so when they came to us, the English translations were just horrible and the better grammarians in our group would work on making them sound less foolish. As gamers know, many of our corrections never made it to the final cut - programmers and producers care about gameplay, not text.

However, in one of the Sonic games, Sonic had to hit a lot of blue balls. The game screen said "Get Blue Balls" and our (mostly male) testing team sniggered all over the place, as will happen, because that was just funny. The text was later changed to "Blue Spheres" and I have no idea what made it to the final cut.
