I enjoyed Sonic R tracks. Specially the ones without vocals.

I think the observations made in this review are soo blunt, only the people at Sonic Team could miss them.

Loved that scream on the "original" Sonic the Hedgehog.

Well, guys, a new Iizuaka interview has surfaced that practically punches you in the balls and proves the man hasn't even played the classic three Sonic games. I hope this prick hits the ground as soon as possible so we can get some competent people producing Sonic 4.

Fuck.

Uh, wasn't he creative director on the third one??

Anyway, as for my thoughts on the whole physics thing, Destructoid summed it up pretty well:

I'm of the opinion that "this sequel is inferior to its predecessors and here's why" is a valid criticism, but I think it's disingenuous to suggest that's the only reason Sonic 4 has gotten the flack it has. If Sonic 4 was the first Sonic game ever, with no previous instalments to compare it to, the physics would still be bad, the levels would still be poorly designed, the music would still be grating and the character animation would still be ugly.

Take New Super Mario Bros on DS for example. It's almost unanimous that it's not as good as SMB3 or SMW. That in itself is disappointing. But it's fun, it's competently made and few people would call it a terrible game in and of itself.*

Ba, ba-ba!

So has anyone read the full Iizuka interview yet? Apparently Sonic 4 is not for us after all and the physics were made the way they are on purpose. Little to our knowledge, 8 year olds with 300 dollar consoles and HDTVs used their credit cards to buy this game as well and they have fond memories of listening to their fathers playing Sonic back in those testicular days. Then you have your new fans, your older fans, your Retro fans even though that means older fans, and your run-n-jump fans which means autistics. But overall Sonic Team is sure everyone loved Sonic 4 despite the widespread hatred for the game. Why should fans have their own opinions when the developer can create an opinion for them?

But do not worry, folks! Sonic Team is ready to balance legitimate concerns with 'new surprises' ! They are being very careful as to not actually address any concern fully as that might offend another type of fan.

That is right, Iizuka is still saying any mistakes in the games are there because otherwise someone might get offended. That is what he is actually trying to make people believe.

Since I ended up paying $40 for the goddamn thing, 100%ed it without really trying in under a week, and don't even feel like playing it again even when extremely bored, i'd say that's a fairly presumptuous statement.

I'm surprised he doesn't just give it up and turn this into a website chronicling his reflections on breakfast cereals. General Mills Zone or something.

Rephrase: "few people have such a loose definition of 'terrible.'" What adjective do you use for a game that's so bad you don't play it to completion, and so un-compelling that you don't blow through it in under a week? Try to pick a word that doesn't involve slang for poop.

I think as a community we should jump this Sonic ship and move onto another topic all together.

I really could find use for a cereal board.

So instead of bitching about Sonic.. we'll bitch about cereal.

Sounds good to me! Let's begin.

Cookie Crisp. What in the hell did they do to Chip the Dog? He's a wolf now!

General Mills doesn't know what they're doing anymore. I miss the old days with Officer Crumb, and the Cookie Crook..

I have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. I just eat my cereal and throw out the box. I don't keep track of any characters or their plot.

Cookie Crisp, incidentally, kinda sucks!

Quakers Oats is controlled by Zionists. Check out the bottom of their boxes on the front, you will see Hebrew characters or a ( U ) symbol which means the food has been molested by a rabbi.

Here is an image, look in the bottom right corner:

Quaker is also part of General Mills, which controls most of your cereal food. So more like Cerael, right?
