I always wanted to see this in a Sandopolis act 2 remake (it's a bit slow, but it picks up around 1:50 and 4:40). Someone needs to hire Rick Wakeman to score a game; I don't care who.

In the real world, everything is blurry and highly contrasting.

It is if you wear glasses. It's certainly not pixellated, at any rate.

I think these are the two things that are preventing that image from actually looking appealing.

As for music, I guess I lean moreso towards the original 2-D games' soundtracks (any of them), though I honestly haven't put much thought into it. Also the Knuckles stages in Sonic Adventure 2 had basically the only enjoyable music in the game, and were kickass, even without the too-cheesy-to-not-be-fun lyrics. Oh, and the music for the Scatter Brain stage (I feel I may be getting the level's name wrong) in Sonic 1 is freaking amazing.

Okay, I'm one of those people who doesn't hate the Knuckles stage music in SA2, but this sentence breaks my brain.

Also, it's Scrap Brain. It saddens me that you didn't know that. Though at least you knew you didn't know.

The saxophone in his first stage was chill-incarnate and I don't care what you say.

Also, I haven't played the first Sonic in a good long time. Hell, I don't really know any of the stage names from Sonic games particularly well. I just think of them all as "the (place) stage from (game)."

I also don't have the motivation within myself to go look-up the stage names when the "description" I present is usually enough to specify which level I'm talking about.

Not to sound snarky or anything.

Yeah remember that one stage with some green backgrounds and some trees? Or that one that had water in it?

No, but I sure loved the one with all the loops!

I see what you did there.
For those of you who are curious, it's "Run to the Hills", from Iron Maden.

So basically all they've done is released a trailer for a game that doesn't even really exist(sort of)? That must be a new low.
