The reason is probably in the Doppleganger Forum thread.

I'll admit that I blindly set myself up for that one.

Having re-read that, I'm going to disown my previous post as evidence that I must never, ever try to use Americanisms. It's just too weird.

Samba De Amigo, though? Spot on, sir. Jolly good.

Looks neat, though I wonder if the game can be played without the maraca attachments. Seeing as I missed out on the Dreamcast original, I'll have to give this version a try.

I never got the DC version. The fact that the maracas use supersonic sensors kinda creeps me out. I mean, aren't those the same rays that can be used to freaking look through your entire body? I don't think that's be healthy...

Somehow, I doubt that even SEGA would be stupid enough to make controller accessories that used nuclear radiation to measure speed/motion/etc.

If anything, it was probably just a different (older) version of what the Wii Nunchuck uses.

I'm assuming the maraca attachments make noises like real maracas. And I have an uneasy feeling Sega's going to make the pisspoor Wiimote speakers make maraca sfx regardless.

Yes, and they were shut off until halfway through No More Heroes when I came here and bitched about why Travis suddenly gets a phone call and walks slowly for a good minute.

So I noticed that there's a lack of the red pay for DLC Wi-Fi logo on the UK box on the official website. It's still there for the US version of the site unfortunately.

The only justification I can think of is US being able to pay for the additional content if they wish to, while Europe continuing to get fucked in the ear.

I don't see where you're coming from with that "unfortunately".

I'm pissed the game's finished enough to have gotten an E for Mild Lyrics, and yet there's still no full tracklist.

You could just leave, you know...

(You see what I did there?)

I'm probably going to pass on Samba and just get Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero World Tour. I can only buy so many music games each year...
