No, but he was present in the Wacky Races. You fail at reading comprehension.

I saw that. I was just under the assumption that he made a connection that shouldn't be made.

The official site is up, with bios and stats for each character.

It really, really pleases me to know that Eggman is the fastest character on the Sonic team next to Sonic and Shadow.

I dunno. The character select screen's been floating around for almost a month on the Internet.

I like the girls' new clothes. It would be silly to have Peach racing in a dress. The fact that all of them are stretching is kinda cool too.

I like how this game's better played in a group of four people, constituted of 2 whities, an asian chick and a black dude acting as complete apes, laughing at those colorful thingies moving in the screen while they do pelvic thrusts.

I like how Mario's slightly more powerful and slower than Luigi. Always pisses me off when they're clones of each other (ie, Strikers).

I'm digging Sonic's pose on the Characters page. Looks really bad ass, and very much like "classic" Sonic.

You can only see three of his head spines in both pictures?

I completely see what Hybrid means. It's something about his proportions. Rounded chest, his shoes, his hands. He looks like he's straight out of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, or some of Omake's drawings.

I think it's that he has a smaller, rounder torso and shorter arms and legs. Even if the art style is different, his actual physical proportions are pretty similar to the ones they were using in most American Sonic art prior to the Sonic Adventure revamp.

Pfft, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games is out tomorrow, sure. Whatever.

But I have to wait until the 23rd to buy MARIO AND SONIC AUX JEUX OLYMPIQUES. Also, I need to go to Europe.

I'm biting my nails.

*Bites his nails*

And I still can't see what's exactly so "classic" about that pose. It looks kind of badass as in Sonic CD's, but not too much classic.

Google NEVER LIES, you understand? Not even French people know more about their own language than Google does.

So, since the game's almost out... anything actually unique and/ or really great about the gameplay or something that makes this title stand out when compared to, say, other non-platforming-mascot-sponsored Olympics games?
Anything?

Non, but after all of those preview videos, I've concluded that AUX JEUX OLYMPIQUES!!!! is the true title of the game, and I must have the true version of this game, regardless of language.

You mean they cut out the cinemas that explained how the dimensions were bent by Eggman Nega and how in order to get all the chaos emeralds, all the gold medals had to be acquired?

Aw, man, that was gonna be the best part.

Yeah. The part of the story where Nitro came in and saved everyone in the Olympics' darkest hour was the best part. Now nobody'll ever witness it. D:

IGN reviews are always so weird because they often take something that most people would consider negative and make it sound like they had a great time with it. Case in point, their impressions of a mission that requires you to catch up with Sonic as Mario:
Mission mode is a simple addition to the package, but it adds a ton to it. After a half hour of trading the controller off between players we still couldn't beat Sonic at his own game. Needless to say, we now have noodle arms, as well as a newfound respect for the fastest character in gaming.
I'm sure everyone threatening to cut themselves if Mario was as fast as Sonic is now sufficiently mollified, but it sounds like a terribly frustrating experience.
