Well, honestly...I'm not really impressed. Overall it looks pretty similar to Rush yeah, gameplay and overall style pretty much the same.... but in comparison it's definitely lacking in virtually every respect.

For one the music definitely doesn't seem to be Naganuma. The only track similar to his work is the boss music and it seems more like a forced attempt at recreating his style. The rest is...well just really generic, no interesting melodies that stand out or anything, just some bog standard "background noise".

Visually the levels don't look any bettter in motion than in stills, no parallax scrolling in the background to save them from being as bland as they looked. The pirate ship stage especially looks like they tried as hard as they could to make it one hell of an ugly motherfucker. The airships in SMB3 were more visually inspiring. The twinkling in the coral cave stage too also comes across as a really lame attempt for them to spice up what's otherwise poor aesthetic design.

The boss fights I'm not even going to discuss in anything more than "Jesus Christ what the fuck is this bullshit" as I'm tired and lazy and that sums things up pretty well.

Overall I'm rather drastically disappointed. The only positive note I have is that the 3d sailing or whatever sections look kind of half fun...but well that's just me straining to find good things to say about an otherwise thoroughly mediocre video.

Looks a little too much like Sonic Rush to me in some regards. The bosses seem to follow the same patterns and concepts as bosses in the original Sonic Rush.

The Dinosaur, for example, attacks (and is damaged) in a manner that is almost exactly like the first boss in the original Sonic Rush.

Gameplay looks okay... I guess. I can't complain about the level design, but the graphics feel kind of simplistic compared to what Dimps did. Lots of solid colors and simple patterns.

The music is okay but kind of uninspired. I'm betting Hideki Naganuma is not involved.

The animation/movement on Sonic when he's doing tricks feels... oddly stiff, or something. I can't put my finger on it, but it's different compared to how tricks were done in Sonic Rush.

Why are all videos gone? From Sonic to Nights... this is pretty annoying.

The new sound effect for tricking sounds almost too meaty. Could it be the animals that you're missing? I don't see any.

I like when he speeds all the way to the mine cart, pushes it to get it going, and then it moves at like half the speed Sonic does. Why even bother with it? The water level (?) looks pretty though.

The second boss they show looks fun though. A problem with the original bosses was that you had to wait for them to expose a vulnerable spot, but here you can deal additional damage if you're fast at hitting the targets. Even the T-Rex you can hit more than once, though probably it's going to take a lot more hits if it's gonna just sit there like a retard while you pound on it.

Looks good to me. It's pretty much more of the same, but that's all I really wanted to begin with.

The jet-ski section looks cool, even if gameplay-wise it's pretty similar to the old special stages, with dragging replacing pointing.

The undersea cave level looks decent, but aside from that, my original opinion still stands (Assuming I posted it here)- the art is way too bland. That pirate stage may very well be the ugliest level in the history of the entire series. That ball boss looks kind of cool, though.

Sonic's head is GIGANTIC.

And some reason, seeing Tails, all I can think is "Hey, hey, hey, you see that over there? Hey? See that? It's Blaze. See Blaze? Hey. Hey. Hey. Look over there. Hey."

The design wouldn't be as much of a disappointment to me had they just been honest and called it Sonic Advance 4. In fact, I'm calling it that in my mind, and maybe it'll meet expectations. Maybe.

From the logo in the pirate's hat I'd say Eggman finally teamed up with Dr. Wily.

The game actually looks pretty good, I just wish Sonic would shut up during the levels.

Not exactly from E3, but here's some new Famitsu scans originally from neoGAF:

Can someone translate Racoony's name?

Fooey. There goes the chance to make her interesting via transformation or something.

Maybe she'll raid trash cans as her gimmick power.

However, it would be funny if she had the ability to fly.
