That's because everyone and their grandma simply played the pirated version for, like, a whole fortnight or so ahead of time.

I don't 'bout that. S-E recently reported that 1.5 million copies were sold since Oct 31. Of course they could have meant sold to retailers, but I don't doubt that this game will be one of the best selling games this Christmas.

And it deserves the sales as I'm quite enjoying it. It seems like the anti-Nomura/Kitase of Final Fantasy, and so far, Vaan is more likeable than the majority of the angst-ridden and whiny main characters that plaugued this franchise. Though I'm probably still early in the game and my position of Vaan's chracter could change the more I progress.
the next FF I'm going to be playing is III DS, if anything. Nobody is ridiculously effeminate...
It's time to play guess the girl!.

Actually, I'm looking forward to that game also as well as FFV Advance.

I'm still waiting for FFVI Advance, myself. Hopefully I won't have to wait until Christmas Season '07, given the gap between the first two SNES ports.

That said, I might look into FFIII, I dunno.

Vaan's kind of an idiot and a jackass, but he's a 17 year old boy. That's what they're supposed to be like.

They all look like little children during actual gameplay though, which is better than having a game where bishounen that flame like exploding suns are falling out of the sky constantly.

The new Zone entrance Rings
Either Imageshack was taking it's sweet time or you don't have any idea how to compress a JPG, because that took forever to load.

I have a few hours yet until I pick up my copy.

Oh, hey Rouge. Somewhere along the line I had forgotten she was going to be in the game. It was nice.

Maybe Sega should do like Bandai did with Digimon and do a CGI movie of Sonic...

I like Rouge if only for the fact that her lack of alliance is out of general disdain for company, not indecision. If only they'd do something with that, I might actually consider her a favorite character. But every time they do some kind of character reveal with Rouge, it's just the same generic slut niche.

EDIT: Although after looking at her in that batch, they get points for toning down the lipstick, and another for having a cute, Amy-esque happy-smile rather than the harlot grin she usually sports.

This Sonic Channel thread contains a comment from a Sonic Channel staff member which suggests that the downloadable content for Sonic the Hedgehog will be released shortly. Apparently, it is in the final stages of production.

However, his comments don’t translate too clearly, so it could be a misunderstanding.

Rouge's character was one of the most refreshing parts of Shadow's story. She came off as aloof, caring, and coniving all at once. Like Jack Sparrow with boobs.
