FINALLY.

(His head looks wierd because it's at an angle, like we're seeing him from above or summat.)

Now, what are the odds that we'll see a Neo Metal Sonic bio? *KILL'd*

MS would look much much better if his quills were longer like in SA1.

That's a strange pose. Is this the first time Metal Sonic's had joints in his fingers? I like that.

Yeah, all his older artwork either had simple ridgid cones or wierd blade-like fingers.

In fact, it looks like they added a LOT of extra detail into this new piece.

In his original Sonic CD profile Metal Sonic was 765.4mm (76.54cm) tall and weighed 125.2kg. His weight is the same in this profile, but his height is now 100cm, just as Sonic has been ever since Sonic Adventure.

Also, he has hips and torso now and not just a chest with legs connected to it.

Its just that that pose is very akward, I would like to see him on another game soon, I hope Sonic Rush 2.

Anyone else notice Metal Sonic grew some junk below the waist?

I think that's supposed to be the top of the thigh of one of the legs. I hope.

Unpossible. He's a metallic hedgehog, not a robot tanuki.

That is one hell of an artwork.

His arm on the left does look a bit gay though.

This is the best interpretation of Metal Sonic thus far, I think. Sure, the pose is awkward, but that just makes it all the more charming; I mean, Metal Sonic has always been about ungainly, disconcerting movements like that, it just adds to that creepy vibe of his.

Metal already had a good new design in SA1, I dont know why they didnt used that one where he was slender and had longer spikes instead.

Now we are stuck with a Metal that looks like a bad fat clone of the original and that has a sack where the sun dont shine.

Wow, it's been a while, hasn't it?

Well, the website seems to have stopped with the monthly character updates--the last two wallpapers have been calendars with new renders of Sonic and Tails.

There HAVE been some other updates of note, however, including the JPN page for Sonic Rush Adventure, a papercraft of the original Tornado for Sonic's 16th birthday, and most recently, three PDF files that give the user some interesting Sonic-themed staionery.
