Well, coincidentally enough I have some more by the names of "Shinka LEborujion G" (aka "Evolution REvolution G"), "Good Luck Corner", "Royale Fleet Lagrovias" and a ".hack" quasi-rip off named "X.VECTOR.MA.N -Xtended VECTORial MAtrix Node-".

Yes, I know they already sound as stupid fucked up names, but hey, we have the Wii!!

Project M.A.X., as it's name implies, is mainly a game project that will be the absolute VS fighter of all times, with it's necessary load of comics and TV series.

Now, before you lay waste on me, remember that you asked for it.

How much good's this SoaP movie? Better than Forrest Gump??

So let me get this straight. You're making a ton of "manga" that all sound like something some teenage girl's AIM screenname, you put a title in (incorrect) Japanese for no reason, and plans for the best game/tv/comic ever?
Riight.
Fucking waps.

Probably.
Still, I think it's better than this.

I did feel pretty ripped off that there was no depiction of manga-Jesus.

In all honesty, that isn't as bad as more American comics that rip off the Japanese comic art style. I don't know why, but I never thought that making fun of Christian-related media was all that funny.

"Inspirational" manga? Eff eff ess. Can someone explain to me why most media in America seems to have to be inspirational, heartwarming or just plain self-congratulatory? Christ, sometimes I fear the whole country's going to suddenly metamorphose into one huge Disney film.

"You can do it if you try!"? Bollocks. You can do it if you can, and if you can't then trying just makes you look like a silly bugger.

That reminds me, I had a class time listening to my old-man "trying" to play Ape Escape on my PSP...

After he took 5 minutes "trying" to work out how to turn it on.

I doubt anyone really cares but there's a HD gameplay video of Sonic Rivals at GameTrailers. It doesn't really show anything new though. The only thing I like about this game are the classic style environments. The actual gameplay looks extremely bland and boring. As a platform game it looks under-developed and as a racing game it looks crap.

That's because it's not on sale yet, and it had already redefined the term "generic".

It might have to do with the fact that this could've been in a superior 2-D Sonic game as a minigame, moreso than anythnig else. The old-style looking environments are the only thing that have my attention.

Meh, in the end it was the same with Heroes.
Aside from the fact that I don't currently own a PSP, there's not a single reason for picking this one over, say, the "improved" Ghosts 'n Goblins (given that the latter includes some kind of multiplayer, if not it still stands well over this dead game).

I'm just kind of curious how three seperate Sonic games being developed silmultaneously is going to affect the quality of the games. My guess is one or two will actually turn out better than expected because different people are working on them.

Also, sans the main attraction, all of them are going to different platforms. It's a win-win situation. The story would be other if they tried to do Sonic Riders 2 (presumably for the three new home consoles) make it to the holidays.

Also, which are Rivals' and Wild Fire's planned launch dates? I guess Wild Fire's will be way after 2006 ends, maybe mid-2007.

Probably early 2007. And I still don't get why is there "underground" in the topic's title.

"Underground" is in the topic's title because it's a take on the Need for Speed series (a series of crappy racing games made by EA that appeal to chavs due to the emphasis on "modding"). I believe Need For Speed: Underground was a sequel or something, and there may have been a Rivals in that title or in another game in the series.

Having the topic title for a Sonic Rivals thread refer to Ned For Speed is rather appropriate: both games involve racing, both are crap, both appeal to idiots, and oh yeah, they both use the word "Rivals."

He, I wanna mod Shadows face a little

Strange enough, PSP's version of NFS Underground is the only one with the "Rivals" thing on it. Maybe we can expect Crash Bandicoot Rivals, Spyro Rivals, Klonoa Rivals, Jak Rivals, Marie Kate and Ashley Rivals, and so on... I also want to mod the Olsen twins' faces a little

JeuxFrance just released new some screenshots of Sonic Rivals featuring a boss.

Why they blew up the images, I don't know.

But can you kick the shell after you defeat it?

Yeah, that's pretty weird - that would fit in a co-op game, but in a race?
