Does this remind anyone else of how SoA was trying to tie the TV shows with the games in the 90's (Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Sonic Spinball, putting in Princess Sally in the Sonic CD manual...)?

Ryan is a bit better voice actor than the one on Sonic X from what I've heard. But I can't stand to watch the terrible 4kids version of it, so I might just hate the show and assume everything else with the English dube is bad.

Popcorn wrote:What about the Gamecube tech demo with a realistic Link fighting a realistic Ganondorf? Nonetheless, I doubt they'd release these screenshots with the official game announcement unless they mean something. The game we see next week may very well look just like this; but don't just assume it will, 'cause it might not.
The difference is that Nintendo never made that scene of Link fighting Ganondorf out to be anything more than a tech demo, whereas Sega have apparently intentionally associated those shots of the Sonic tech demo with the upcoming Sonic game.

So, you are saying that the new Sonic game is going to have lot of useless characters and be the same crap The Sega has been making of Sonic lately?. No, is not a typo, I’m going to call them “The Segaâ€￾.

I don't see what the fuss is about the VO's... I didn't think anybody liked the first lot anyway. The only one I thought was any good happened to be Eggman and he needed to be replaced anyway.

As for Sonic Next, I'm very hopeful that this is going to be the game we've been waiting for. The screens fill me with hope; instead of a track suspended in mid air we've got wide open fields. So there may be a linier rout to follow but at least you can't fall off the sides.

The new robots ooze cool. Yes I miss the badniks but new robots work from a storyline perspective. Eggman only used to capture animals to power these machines when he was on isolated islands. Since SA2 he's working on a bigger scale and needs more than caterkillers and the like to do his bidding.

Esrever wrote:I don't know. I thought Ryan had really settled into the character well by Sonic Heroes. The dialogue was terrible, of course, but his delivery was finally sounding natural. The same goes for Knuckles' voice actor, and Rouge as well. From what I've seen of the US Sonic X, the 4Kids actors are going to be a big step down for those three, at the very least.

But have they really replaced all the actors? In the Shadow trailers, Shadow still sounds the same to me as he always has...
Its because Shadow is loved by many N00B's and they fear that if they remove his voice, the N00B's will be upset.

therefore SEGA doesnt give a shit about anything else besides Shadow.

SEGA of AMERICA SCREWS UP ONCE AGAIN!! AND THIS TIME THE WORST TIME EVER!!!!

I DONT WANT TO SEE THE WORDS 4KIDS WHEN I START UP MY NEW SONIC GAMES!! IM GONNA IMPORT FROM NOW ON, AMERICA SUCKS!

You think e-mailing SEGA will work? After I read the line-up for Sonic Gems Collection, I e-mailed SEGA asking if they were going to include Chaotix, and SEGA's response was, "I'm sorry, Sonic Gems Collection will only include Sonic games." As if there weren't any "non-Sonic" games in that collection. Idiots.
