Super Sonic is the final secret character but I'm not sure exactly how he works in Riders. Apparently you have to equip Sonic with a Chaos Emerald or something and he's powered by rings rather than air and if the rings run out he reverts back to normal Sonic. There's links to screenshots of Super Sonic, Ulala, NiGHTS and Aiai in this GameFAQs topic.

Everyone I've talked to that's actually played the game says it's pretty good. I'm definitely going to give it a shot.

I have to admit, i didn't actually know about this. It clearly wasn't a very big thing in testing.

They're jet shoes, like Shadow's.

Tiny bit relieved that they're just including Super Sonic as a bonus unlockable, and not some Last Story/Race/Whatever essential for story mode.

Super Sonic riding a pogo-stick would've been my first choice, though.

You can choose to have Air Shoes instead, but I wonder if when they equip em their shoes look the same or do they have whatever the Air Shoe looks like?

From what I've been told by some guy who's got the game, the Super Sonic attribute is a board, not a player character. So you have to play as Sonic and you have to play with that specific board in order to get Super Sonic in the race. Apparently he changes back to regular Sonic if he runs out of rings, so it's not like Sonic R.

The PAL version probably does, as is tradition. It is right and proper because all you Americaners are xenophobic, so you people don't want any langauge but your own twisted English language.

Penis.

Huh? PAL versions of games rarely ever have Japanese, even if the US version of the title has it (for example, the PAL Disgaea is English only), Sonic is one of the few examples I can think of where the PAL version does have the Japanese language option, in some versions at least.

What we do always get on the other hand is French, Dutch, German, etc, though in most cases that's for the subtitles only.

You shouldn't take any of my posts with the word penis in them seriously.

Actually, don't take any of my posts seriously. Especially not this one.

Well, c'mon, do you see Big in a race? He'd get distracted before the thing even started.

That, and being delegated to comic relief duties in a racing game is paramount to a death sentence.

Knuckles was the same way with the M.E. until Heroes.

Of course, he'd have to lift either four fingers or a thumb. Unless--what's under those gloves anyway...?
