In celebration of a dude getting nailed to a tree... (NWS?)

Post by Baba O'Reily »

...and then getting better, I've gotten a few things.
-A shitload of candy
-Iggy and the Stooges, Raw Power
-John Coltrane, The Very Best Of
-Jimi Hendrix, First Rays of the New Rising Sun
-The Mars Volta, Tremulant EP
-Suikoden IV, the reason I made this topic.
So far, it's a love-hate relationship. I haven't played the first 3, so this may just be me being weird, but I'm not fond of the sailing controls. They seem clunky, and there are times when the invisible borders around ports leave me stuck, trying vainly to turn to the right. I've only completed the first mission, and hopefully, I'll get the hang of sailing. Otherwise, I have no complaints, other than Snowe being vaguely annoying.

Here they is:
One full bag of Whoppers Robin Eggs
Little bag of Easter-style jelly beans.
A few Cadbury cream eggs.
Some more malted eggs
Some Reese's peanut butter eggs.
Peeps
8 packs of Life-Savers.
Those marshmallow sugary egg things

Not as Mighty as I expected, but it'll suffice.

Well, I used to, but not anymore it seems. And when it I did, it was only one small gift, nothing extravagant.

Down here in the hood we don't get presents for Easter, either.

The sailing in Suikoden 4, like Zelda, is bullshit after you reach the second port. Fortunately, there's a character you can get later who will be able to warp you to any location on the map anytime, so you'll only have to sail to new places.

Keep in mind that Suikoden 4, while I still enjoyed it despite myself, is but a shadow of the previous two.

My parents decided that I deserved Suikoden IV. So there's that.
And Gibbon, that's more comforting than you know.

Me too. She even yelped out "Jesus!" at one point, but I corrected her that today it ought to be "Zombie Jesus!"

I've heard a convincing argument that he was in fact a ghoul, since he would need super strength to roll the stone away form his tomb.

The Gospel reading (don't remember which) I heard last night said an angel that looked like lightning came down, knocked the guards out with his very radiance, and moved the stone. Then sat on it and told the two Marys the story when they got there.

Since when did people get gifts on Easter? Have I been missing out on more gifts my entire life?

Heh, I got Sonic 3 for Easter back when it came out.

This year I got the Incredibles DVD, along with some Hershey's Cookies and some Cadbury Egg packs.

It just ain't Easter unless you get your Cadbury Eggs, I always say.

I got some candy. *shrug* Holidays don't mean much to me anymore. I just tell everyone to give me money, but they keep giving me things. I have plenty of things. I don't have plenty of money.

All I got was the game and 30 bucks. I managed to get 4 CDs out of that 30 bucks. So there.
And I didn't get Cadbury Eggs. Baba is now depressed.

Too bad I don't care about Cadbury. Chocolate sucks. Actually most candy sucks. I think I lost my sweet tooth years ago.
