France screws it again?(Sonic X)

Post by Nova »

I found the one doing the new season of Sonic X is France, that explains a lot. In The Japanese Sonic X we see a Shadow ghost in the Ark, and in this French season he is alive. But lets not blame the French yet, Transformers Energon/Superlink anyone? that anime doesn’t make much sense compared to Armada either(Even in the Japanese versions). In the other hand France didn’t do a good job with “Sonic undergroundâ€￾, but that doesn’t mean thing new season can’t be a success. Like the second season of Beyblade where they did it as a Japan only thing and changed the look. And I know many of you don’t like Beyblade, but they did a third season because the second one sold well, right?.

I personally think this is not going to work. But because it seems they are people who likes this thing, I’m going to wait a few episodes more and see what happens.

We proudly present “Sonic X made in Franceâ€￾ and soon…get ready for Shadow of a hedgehogâ€￾ is Shadow, it has guns, what else do you need?.

No, its made in France, that’s why the bitorents are of French episodes. Or maybe they use japanese animators but the season is made in France anyway. You know in thundercats all the animators where japanese but it was made in USA.

I've never heard anything about this French-Japanese deal, you speak of.

Are you entirely sure about this? I think it's just a French dub that just happens to be airing before the original Japanese version.

You're right. The French version is just a dub... it's the same show it's always been.

I love how vicious everyone is towards the French these days. You know what I mean... "oh, the French, well that explains it," like the entire country is somehow synonymous with incompetence.

World War I.

Oh, and World War II.

And the French "Revolution", while we're at it.

The country is synonymous with incompetence.

However, I find the idea of them being responsible for the second season of Sonic X to be a stretch. Not that I consider a second season a bad thing.

No, the country is only synonymous with military losses. You just think that's the same thing because you Yanks are all crazy war-mongers who only care about how good people are at blowing other people up.

See? Stupid generalizations are FUN!

I'm not talking just about their lack of skills at war. I'm talking about the whole country and their people in general.

I’m “sorryâ€￾, but this new season is really French. I’m not the kind of guy who likes to invent things just to post them in forums. These new episodes haven’t ever aired in Japan yet. Don’t believe me? fine, go to ask in http://www.sonicanime.net/ and then we can talk.

The new Sonic X season is being made in France, may you like it or not.

I don't see anywhere on that site that it says it's made in France.

And aside from that:

The new season is airing in Thailand and France, not in Japan.

Sonic 1 was released in America before Japan, it must've been made by Sega of America!

The episodes have been made in Japan. France was only the second (Thailand the first) country to air the episodes.

What language is it running in Thailand? Do they dub it themselves over there? I'm just thinking of how the "Asian" versions of video games tend to be Japanese with a multilingual language insert in the manual, it sort of gives the impression that they don't fully localize anything over there... especially when you compare with western games where the game is at least subtitled in a number of major languages (Sonic Heroes) and in some cases dubbed in them too (Jak & Daxter)
