You didn't even have to hold Up. You direct yourself and sit back and watch. In my case, I used to play it at night during my GCSE exams (that's when it came out here), and I'd fall asleep inbetween islands.

Then you have to play that damn song everytime you want to change directions.

I kept praying for a motor power-up, but it was not to be.

I just used to keep it on North and struggle to any other direction via a complicated zig-zag movement.

'One of your sources'? The rumour surfaced and then seemed to be confirmed as fake, although I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't have some truth in it after seeing all the zoology in that trailer.
Miyamoto's been fascinated by dogs and such lately, so I wouldn't be surprised. If this was "Legend of Zelda: Fursuit of Power" or something.
But there is so many hidden treasures to find and islands to explore! 60+ hours of non-stop action adventure gameplay!!!1
40 hours of saltwater. 20 hours actually outside the boat.

The first thing that I thought when I saw the wolf was, "Oh, Link's a werewolf."

I guess that was going through a lot of people's heads.

I thought "What a shitty, non-related ending to the trailer." If you guys are right, I owe you all blowjobs.

I haven't seen the trailer, due to my connection being from the stone age, but in Wind Waker you could take control of seaguls by giving them a fruit. Maybe they'll have something like that for the new Zelda, but with a greater veriety of animals.

I wish you could do that in real-life. It'd take a lot of fruit, but eventually I'd conquer the earth with my army of frutilcious seagulls.

Two dumb jokes for the price of one

What is the air-speed velocity of a fruitladen seagull?

OR

Yeah, you're pretty fruity.

P.S. Learn how to hit the right buttons, Del. At least no one noticed.

HOLY FUCK! If you reserve the new Zelda, you get an UPDATED Wind Waker with realistic-style graphics and two new dungeons!

That was an April fool's joke by EGM.
I'm sorry.

But . . . but!

It's not fucking April! Godddamit They don't play fair. Who puts out April Fools jokes two weeks before fucking April?

Bastards! After the Sonic in Smash Brothers thing - it's too much. I say we get a legal restraining order from them doing this shit ever again!

I really can't believe that a) so many fucking people fell for that (the 'screenshot' was hilarious) and b) why so many people even got so overexcited about it in the first place.

It was shitty, but I assumed that was because they threw it together in a month or so by just reworking the models in Wind Waker.

And I got excited about it because it'd be nice to play a better version of Wind Waker, which had the potential to be great but never achieved it.

I fell for it for about five glorious, deceitful minutes.
After four minutes I looked on the cover of the magazine and saw that it was the April issue. I held out hope for about a minute that it was the shitty looking LEGO Star Wars game. Then I died inside. That seems to be happening alot lately.

Ditto. Why would anyone want a "realistic" looking Wind Waker anyway? Then the visuals would be entirely out of place with everything else about the game. It'd be like having a cute and cartoony version of Shenmue.

I just can't imagine a kiddy Ryo saying "I'm looking for some sailors."
