Yeah. After about 6 months of smoking cigarettes I decided that I was going to quit. I just came in after my last cigarette just now, and honestly, it may be harder than I'm prepared for. However, I think that if I can make it through the next 3 days without a cig I'll be able to do it.
Anyway, I just felt like writing this down somewhere, so that I'll actually stick with it. That is all.
I quit about a year back. It's good, man. You'll feel so much healthier after literally a few weeks. If you've only smoked for about 6 months you should be fine, but if it helps, try smoking cigars socially. It'll make you look cool and the taste is rather fine when accompanied with a decent single malt whiskey.
Best of luck, and congratulations on your decision. :)
Dude, that's awesome. Best 'o luck to ya.
I consider myself lucky to actually be allergic to cigarrete smoke, so I couldn't smoke if I wanted to.

Thanks for the support, guys. I had a headache earlier, but I'm feeling alright now. This is the longest I've gone in a while without a cigarette, but I'm not even really craving one all that bad, so I'm feeling good about that.

I suppose some people can get dependant in the span of 6 months or so, but I just guess I wasn't. Although, considering that for this past month I'd been smoking 3 or 4 a day, it's probably a good thing that I quit before I was really addicted.

Yeah, believe me, I know. My step-dad's been smoking since he was 16. However, I just meant to say that I'm glad I decided to quit before I was actually addicted and smoking 1+ packs a day.
