Good fucking God, they're combining Batman Beyond with Bugs fucking Bunny?!
What the hell is wrong with them?
Remember how I once said that the idea for Kingdom Hearts was so absurd - Mickey Mouse fighting soul-snatching demons, that the only thing on par with it would be a devil-slaying Bugs Bunny?!
Well . . . FUCK.

Come on, guys... they aren't even going to have the same names as the original characters. It's not like this is the "new" Bugs Bunny. And if it wasn't supposed to be related to Bugs in any way, I would have considered that to be a pretty slick original character design. True, the show will probably suck, but it doesn't have to suck.
Fucking bastard. If "Loonatics" is a hit on Saturday morning, for example, it is likely to ripple through the company's merchandising, home-video and movie divisions.

New Freakazoids would be nice. Or old ones. They pulled it from (really) early mornings on Cartoon Network a while ago, didn't they?

It'd be very hard to recapture the magic, I imagine it would be difficult to bring back enough of the people who made the shows great in the first place. Having said that though, I do think they should've tried a new series of Batman: The Animated Series instead of The Batman. BTAS was so definitive and timeless, The Batman is not and it doesn't even seem to have strong enough connections to Batman Begins to be considered a particularly effective tie-in.
I read in another article that the new designs on these characters are not of the original Bugs, Daffy, etc. but their descendents which makes me breath a little with relief. Here's the link, no clue if they will intend it this way by the time it airs: http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/ ... 1321c.html
As usual, I will give it a shot before ultimately judging it, but needless to say, that Bugs Bunny design's color is DAMN fugly. Now if the yellow was replaced with blue...

That's nothing more than just a lame excuse which WB will use to defend themselves with against the hordes of raging fans. In the end it won't matter, they will still use the Looney Toons and it's legacy to market this new show and that's the real problem. They are using beloved characters to market something that has nothing to do with the old stuff. I'm pretty sure when the commercials starts for this new show it will go something like this The New Looney Toons are here and they are X-treeeeeme! They are the Lunatics!! *Electric guitar wailing*Neo Yi wrote:I read in another article that the new designs on these characters are not of the original Bugs, Daffy, etc. but their descendents which makes me breath a little with relief.
