Lord almighty! It's worse than I imagined. They don't even look like anything, just angular vaguely humaoid black shapes with angular patches of gawdy colours on them.

As I suspected, Porky Pig is missing from the lineup. Apparently, his merchandise sells less than any of the other Looney characters. Taz, meanwhile, sells the best. That's why you see a lot more of him and a lot less of Porky today than you did in the actual classic cartoons.

Oh. I only saw Space Jam once, and have since blocked most of it from my memory.

Isn't Porky the oldest Looney Tunes character? If I recall correctly, he came first, then Daffy, then Bugs.

Porky is the oldest of the classic Looney Tunes. The Roadrunner and Wiley Coyote are the most recent. They were actually too new to appear in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, technically... but they did anyway! :)

I'm sure they'll throw Porky in there somewhere... it's just sad that he isn't part of the main cast anymore. They cut him right out of that shitty Looney Tunes babies cartoon too. At least he is still in Duck Dodgers.

Until I read this, I wasn't sure who was who besides Bugs and Daffy. Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner just looked like different colored ducks to me.
