Holy shit, that thing is AWESOME.
(mold instructions now plz)

I was always annoyed that as a kid, I never had enough of the fancy parts to build anything like that (I had like, two). That thing is all fancy parts! Is there even one standard Lego brick in it?
Posted: Wed Nov 07, 2007 12:42 pm
There're not all that fancy. A lot of those parts are pretty common in the Bionicle Technic models.
It is really, really awesome, Wooduck.
Posted: Wed Nov 07, 2007 3:18 pm
@_@ That looks fantastic!
Is it poseable in any way?
Posted: Wed Nov 07, 2007 3:26 pm
You are made of WIN Wooduck.
Posted: Wed Nov 07, 2007 5:56 pm
No, only if he uploads a wallpaper-friendly version will he win one and a half Internets.
For the time being he only owns one.
Posted: Wed Nov 07, 2007 8:59 pm
I am compiling instructions for my own use should I ever disassemble him, so if you want I can post a link to them when I am done with them. I will also include a complete list of parts.
Posted: Wed Nov 07, 2007 9:13 pm
Can't tell very well from the small pics, but the first and third pics look like they'd make awesome desktop poses.
Also, posting instructions would net you at least TWO internets from me.

I should get around to uploading pics of my own LEGO creation--it's this wierd thing that I call the "Iron Wyvern".
Posted: Thu Nov 08, 2007 9:45 pm
You did not. You fucker. THIS IS TOO AWESOME!
Where's that gif with the guy's head exploding when I need it?
I think I'm crying blood.
Posted: Fri Nov 09, 2007 5:01 pm
According to my calculations, Wooduck is now in charge of 4.5 Internets.
Posted: Sat Nov 10, 2007 2:15 am
XD What the hell is that from?
Wooduck, that is far more badass than... shit, everything.
Posted: Sat Nov 10, 2007 3:20 am
XD What the hell is that from?
It's from the original Scanners movie.

oh and Lego Technic is a poor man's Meccano
Posted: Sat Nov 17, 2007 11:46 am
Maybe so, but it's still cool.
Okay, so here's my little abomination of plastic and art. It's obviously not NEARLY as complex as Wooduck's piece, but I'm proud of it anyway. I call it the "Iron Wyvern".
Iron Wyvern's "default" form, with wings folded and open.
Iron Wyvern's "battle" form, with a slightly more "humanoid" shape.
My attempt at a "hornet" form.
Iron Wyvern's "tank" form--the feet are supposed to resemble tank treads.
This one I actually made by accident--I was trying to fold up the wings and found that lining it up with the tail made it look a lot like a crossbow--so I added in the tank-tread legs and made a "ballista" form.
This one was actually ripped off of the original "tank" form, which originally had the pincers facing forward instead of backward--so i modified the feet and made it a "scorpion" form.

It looks egg wyvern-ish, exchange the pieces with red and there you go.
