I didn't notice the URL in here last time I read the post, but that self portrait is hilarious. I love the expression on his face, and of course the whole drawing yourself thing.

Is Angel Island even mentioned in the newer games?

Red Mountain is in reality the volcano that has Lava reef under it and that the Death Egg landed on, cool huh?
Awesome Picture! I love it! but I believe the Master Emerald shrine is much, much smaller to the point you cant even see it with the naked eye I believe.
That is the Emerald Shrine to the left right? and if so what is the one small Island on the right?

Actually, the island on the right is the Mystic Ruins and the island on the left would be Marble Garden. The shrine couldn't be in a little island since it is in the Hidden Palace, indoors, next to Lava Reef, under the Sky Sanctuary.

Not that I know of, but the Master Emerald shrine came into play in Advance 3 during the final boss...

No, but who cares? Sonic games are trying to beat Megaman games in the plotholes count!
I think Sega should hire Sonic fans for the minimum and make them do a Sonic game, so they could use that as an excuse when fans complain about the game.

Probably one of the dumber things I've ever drawn and I didn't even spend much time on the sketch or coloring.

It smells like stale cereal and I haven't tasted it but I'm betting on something like cardboard.

Also, I tried to impress a girl by drawing this picture. She likes polar bears and penguins.

This is a somewhat big departure for me, style-wise. I kind of dig it.
