Post your artwork (56k warning)
Re: Post your artwork (56k warning)
I glanced at him for one second and thought he was Pit. Looks almost like an official render from the mid 90s. Good job I say.

Re: Post your artwork (56k warning)
That's fantastic.
Re: Post your artwork (56k warning)
Putting actual gameplay there would not make these sky levels any less dull. Likely just rushed with that thrown in to keep it there.
Re: Post your artwork (56k warning)
I like the Xbox Guide Button mixed in there.

"PZD"? Panzer Zwei Dragoon?
Re: Post your artwork (56k warning)
Panzer Dragoon. No, I don't know either why I included that Z there.
Re: Post your artwork (56k warning)
Pamela, a character from Yggdra Union and reappearing in Knights in the Nightmare.
I only drew this because it's the favourite YU character of a girl I have a crush on but PSSST

No drawings this time, but I do have a shitload of sculpture pieces to share. They were made over a school year in a Pottery and Sculpture class in High School. All pieces were made by me, but any copyrighted material obviously doesn't belong to me.
And my favorite...
They're all also submitted to my deviantART.

Re: Post your artwork (56k warning)
Character design at its greatest. Like a guy with a shaved head and some typical clothes, just wow!

Ever tried real-time hair rendering? I can tell you, it's a son of a bitch. Hence, shaved heads for all male protagonists, and ponytails for the ladies.

I once saw a young woman on the bus with a shaved head. She was pretty hot!

But instead of a bus, in a Subway restaurant.

That's the one place you want them to have hair.gr4yJ4Y wrote:This.Crazy Penguin wrote:I once saw a young woman on the bus with a shaved head. She was pretty hot!

I'm not sure if I posted these here before or not. (Not going to bother skimming through 100 pages to look)

cjmcray, do you pencil in your hand-drawn works before inking them? Your art seems a little stilted, and it'd be a lot more natural if you allowed for some experimentation beforehand. Also, in the third drawing, the witch character isn't eyeing the guy she's trying to stomp off her broom.
Re: Post your artwork (56k warning)
Thank you for the criticsm, Wombat.
I sometimes sketch it first, then trace over the picture with a sharpie and erase the pencil lines. I didn't in these pictures, because.. well I was lazy. (going back and erasing the lines seems like a bit of a chore, not to mention I don't have an eraser at the moment) I'll try to be less lazy in the future.

Re: Post your artwork (56k warning)
Basically, about half a year ago I drew this, but left it unfinished.
Recently I discovered it again and was discontent that I never completed it; also because the symbolic value of not granting a sun to rise seemed rather unpleasant to me. Therefore, I continued working on it and now it is done.
I didn't want to alter the original picture too much so aside from recolouring parts of the sky, fixing the horizon and erasing a perspectively incorrect tree I refrained from changing the base although today I would have done a few things differently.
