Here's my finished version, only an hour or so late. :) Still could probably have used some more time (I kinda wanted to re-line Sonic and make him a bit bolder, too) but eh.

So, we've got my entry, right? I said I recorded myself inking and coloring it in time lapse, so for those of you who are curious:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKFdrkLt2Cc - Inking. Slow, kind of dull, probably not worth watching.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfJcGCYcm58 - Faster and longer (the way the ladies like it). Strangely hypnotic, and worth watching.

I was going to link the Gametrailers versions of these (since they're higher resolution and I get money when people view them), but Gametrailers takes FOREVER to approve videos and their server is screwing up.

Should Gametrailers get their act together, I may edit this post.

I'm especially interested in how you created the Death Egg.

Wow! Paint Shop Pro, I don't see it since 1998...ish.

That was really cool Blaze. The coloring was fenomenal.

O, an art thread... I guess yeah sure why not.

Mostly just Sonic shit for now.

Image
Honey redesign of sorts. With a baseball bat. 2Player version as well.

Image Part of this... comic thing. Everyone drew one panel, but they only got to see the panel beforehand. The results were rather... bizarre.

Image
MSPAINT LAWL. I haven't played 2006. Don't really plan on doing it anytime soon either.

Image
A sprite. No one loves Big :|

Image
Another.

Okay, I have more but that's enough for now :\

One of those exquisite corpse projects? Man, those are so much fun to do.

everytime I see mephiles drawn wonderfully I've got to tell you I start to wish 2006 was a good game. I feel that very strongly right now.

Also someone tell me, was Honey a playable character in sonic the fighters? i've never even heard of such a character.

Nay, not playable under normal conditions. You can hack her into play, though. I believe there's clips somewhere on youtube. She uses the same move set as Knuckles, but a lot of her data is messed up. She's based off of another Honey from another fighting game by Sega called "Fighting Vipers".

Amazing how AM2 did such a good job creating cool Sonic characters that no one would ever see again.

Here's the real Honey(she's called Candy in the U.S.)

She was just 'furrized' as a joke for StF.

And they did a good job at that. I have no idea why she's not in the final game.

How do you hack to play her?

I remember there's a way, but the outcome is a bit glitchy so it may not be worth it. There were a good few other characters like Rocket Metal that weren't included in the final game.

Still, Honey was quite hot, and good on Silv for finally making that ant badnik seem more useful than it did in the game. ^^

Wasn't her in that awful Tekken vs Virtua Fighter game for the Genesis?

Nonsense. Big is awesome. Big is even MORE awesome when you consider that he has Duke Nukem's voice actor (well, pre-4Kids). The only thing not awesome about Big is his gameplay (fishing just isn't fun, not here, not in Zelda, not in Animal Crossing, not in dedicated fishing games, not in real life... it's just not fun, seriously).

It's true. The only reason people fish in real life is for an excuse to sit out on a boat and get hammered.
