<img src="http://blazefire.mooglecavern.com/art/s ... finger.gif">

Drawn just for this topic omg! Couldn't think of anything BETTER to draw :P

<img src="http://blazefire.mooglecavern.com/art/peachbikini.gif">

This one's almost a year old, now. Even though most of what's drawn here is complete shit, it still amuses me.

<img src="http://blazefire.mooglecavern.com/art/face.gif">

For some reason whenever I start drawing in MSpaint without a goal, I end up drawing stuff like this... closeups on people's eyes and stuff. I don't know why.

What I want to know is how the heck some of you make such good-looking stuff in Paint. It boggles my mind sometimes.

I never use a tablet. They're too... wibbly, somehow, at least the one I've got. Using a mouse may take longer, but at least it's accurate.

I thought part of the allure of MS Paint was that you didn't use a tablet... I didn't use mine anyway.

Pfft, MS Paint is an outlet for people who are afraid to do real drawing. You bunch of pussies.

I didn't even know you could use a tablet with MSpaint.

I think it's mainly used for Flash drawings, but I've tested it with MSpaint and it does work. It works like a regular mouse, pretty much. Only in the form of a pen. It even has an eraser on it so you can erase in Flash.

Tablets take a bit to get used to after years of drawing using a mouse. But once you get the hang of it, they are definately worth it.

Or maybe I just saying this because I have a crappy mouse.

I'm just curious, Pop. Do you use an optical mouse for those drawings or a regular one?

Christ, if you have a tablet, at least justify the money they cost with something more advanced than MS Paint. If you practice legitimacy and don't want to pay for Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro, use GIMP. It's free and about as powerful.

I'd say the best program to be used for a tablet would be Macromedia Flash. I think Flash was made to be used with a tablet; you should see some of the stuff you can do with it.

I use a standard mouse. Doesn't even have a scrollwheel, I'm that archaic.

For a while I did start playing around with Paintshop and a tablet and shit, but it all seemed kinda stressful, and I'm not that great/serious an artist or anything so it didn't seem like a major thing. I doodle in MS Paint and essay margins from time to time, and that's pretty much it.

I have a lot of this kinda junk; I write a bit, draw a bit, play guitar a bit-- being the crappy jack of all trades is getting old.
