The series may be slipping now, but we still can't forget the old days. Out of all the the games which is your favorite? I pick Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

Why does everyone find it necessary to start these freaking polls?

Ahh, memories of the old days... Sonic 2 was definitely the best and the most entertaining! I'd play that one for hours letting my little brother play as Tails in 1P mode. (Okay, mabey not hours...) Super Sonic definitely looked better in Sonic 2 than in Sonic 3&K in my opinion.
(Sometimes I'd play that game so much I'd hear the Ring sound even when the game wasn't on...)

I just think they're stupid and pointless.

Why? If you think they are stupid then, what's the point of giving your time to say how stupid it is?

I don't care, lol. Don't be scared of me because I'm the admin. I was just commenting that I think these polls are pretty pointless. It's my opinion, and you're welcome to disagree.

Sonic CD is much more of a real sonic game than Sonic 3D Blast could ever hope to be. Plus it's more fun. A lot more.

So, how long until someone jokingly starts a "Who here is sick of polls" poll? That's always the next stage in the life of a phpBB.

Well I was going to, but then you said it so now I can't.
Well, not really, but I think I'm beginning to enjoy poking fun at you.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles doesn't deserve half the praise it gets. Sonic 2 was a better and more entertaining game.

Oh, and I like Sonic 2 the best, as it came with my first Genesis (which just so happened to be the first console I ever had). Oh, how nostalgia so easily rules my emotions.
Also, I still love "The Lion King".

I do agree that a few of the levels in Sonic 2 were put together better than S3K, but people really like S3K for two big reasons:
1) Three playable characters, each with their own unique set of moves (unlike in S2, in which you had two characters that played exactly the same).
2) You can save your damn game so you don't have to play through the whole thing in one setting all over again.

I can still play through all of S3&K without stopping or dying, given that I have the time available.
Yeah, I'm hardcore.
