Dammit! The reason Bush became president in the first place is because everyone in the left is voting in 20 directions at once.
All the conservative, uptight, rich, war-mongering Christians ALL vote for the Republican candidate.
But the liberals are so disorganized and disagree on so many things that they can't all stand behind a single leader. Thus, even though all of the liberal minorities all add up to an entity much larger than the "small majority" of rich white heterosexual males, they end up screwing themselves over because they can only think of their specific causes instead of the larger picture.
I swear, I almost wish we'd go back to a monarchy. Or have an impartial computer or alien run things. At this point, I think Victor Von Doom would do a better job of running the country than the way it's being handled now.
Of course, worst case scenario - all the liberals move to Canada.

If we used that approach this year, we'd probably be hip deep in anarchy by the end of the year!Zeta wrote:Actually, come to think of it, democracy would problably work a hell of a lot better if we had a selection of candidates, and voted the ones we didn't like OFF - instead of voting for the ones we want.
Of course, we'd still be getting the same amount of leadership as we have now or are going to have in the forseeable future.

Only if you insist on making the following changes:
-The flag is changed from boring stars and stripes to nekkid boobies. I don't think this will be any sort of problem.
-Nobody likes the name "Florida". It's boring and it doesn't make any sense. I would change the name of the state to "Penisopolis"; at least then it would fit.
-Everyone gets a free car. If Oprah can do it, so then should the president.
That should about do it, I think.
