Hoverboards were invented ages ago. The ones used in the filming of Back To The Future II were the real deal. But apparently toy companies wouldn't sell the thing because it was considered far too dangerous - which was tehnically true, but still did suck.
At least that's what I was lead to believe by them documentaries showing the practice runs of the hoverboards out in the desert. Would seem silly to include it in the The Making Of sequence if it was a hoax.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096874/triviaAs a joke, in a promo interview, Robert Zemeckis stated that the hoverboards were real. A surprising number of people believed it.
Supposedly Energon is good storywise, but the animation put me right off.
All the ropbots are now Cell Shaded 3D models. This would be fine if they didn't move like the actual 80's toys. They look like they were animated bby a 12 year old, not even in the same sport at Beast Wars.
And Optimus Prime has some new special transforming ability where 4 mini-robots combine onto him. This would be okay, I don't know if they EXPLAINED them or not, but the problem is that when he shoots his ultra mega death laser, they basically just made 100 randomly places lasers pop out from each part of his body. It makes no sense, looks stupid, and is lazy as hell.

First off id like to apologize for bring this old topic back up.... but i just cant help but feel totally disgusted by the remarks here.
Most of you dont give this FAN GAME a chance just simply because its based on the Sat AM universe. SO WHAT? if thats a problem, dont reply. its not that hard.
2nd... Some of you were judging it by its graphics.... well if you judge games by its graphics, then its no wonder why many people never experienced the beauty of a game such as SNES' Earthbound.
And 3rd off, Sally IMO is better then Amy because shes more of a true woman/girl. while Amy from the Sega universe is 12 years old :|
No offense but i think Sonic WOULD be better with someone that was around his age =P even if its not from the same universe. But seriously. who cares?
You dont have to agree with me, i dont really mind. But the guy litterally made this game from scratch, and if you cant respect him for working his ass of on something like that, then you quite frankly, dont even have respect for yourself IMO.
Thank you.
Dr. Pizza
PS Amy Rose vs Sally Acorn: Whoever wins, Sonic loses.

*shrugs* Appearently, you do since you have replied to a topic almost over 6 month old.But seriously. who cares?
Why shouldn't we? We were expressing our opinions of why we would/wouldn't care much about this game and that is usually expected in an internet message board. Most of you dont give this FAN GAME a chance just simply because its based on the Sat AM universe. Well, it could be argued that while Earthbound's graphics are simplistic in comparision to the detailed graphics of Square RPGs at the timed, they can be also be aesthetically pleasing for its simplicity. While people here may think Sonic Epoch fails in aesthetics.2nd... P.S. Age is not a big factor in a Japanese franchise and a three year difference between tween/teens isn't big compared to some of the stuff I've see in manga, anime, and video games. But that doesn't really matter anyway in the end since Sonic doesn't need a steady girlfriend.

Dr Pizza: You revived a dead topic for THIS?
Keep in mind that most here dislike SatAM because it deviates so much from the Sonic mould. What were you expecting? And let's look at the truth: Epoch GBA is a bare-bones version of the superior-but-incomplete PC game, filled with shortcuts and hack writing, with all the good stuff cut out or underutilized. I don't know who wrote this thing, but they've completely lost the writing talent present in the PC version. As a result, the plot elements and script come across as heavy-handed and stupid. This the creator admitted (in so many words). Can you honestly blame anybody here for hating it?
I'm just yelling into an empty cave here, since this topic probably won't last much longer. Oh, well; that was fun.
