So that's what's happened to Poochy :(

It's getting harder and harder to ignore the 3DS, I have to admit. Clockwork (one of my favorite-ist level tropes) Mansion looks promising. Mayhaps this will be compatible with the Monster Hunter peripheral seeing as the C-Stick was crucial to the original.

Also, everything looks to be made of porcelain? Hmm.

I can't say I'm terribly excited for this game, I had no interest in the original when it came out. How was it, anyway?

I also didn't play the first one though I heard pretty good things.

I really dig this commercial they just released, makes me feel like it's 1992 and I'm putting off doing my homework. They really nailed the vibe of those old game ads!

It's actually one of my favorite games for the Gamecube, exclusive or not. It's got an arcade feel with its monetary system, which impells you to search every nook and cranny. Plus there's the fact it turned Luigi into an actual character (his pre-Mansion fanbase always baffled me). That's not to say that it's not a flawed game; it is. The boss Boolossus is probably the worst in the entire Marioverse. Many also criticize the length, that you can basically beat it in an afternoon, but I find that one of its strengths; it's perfect for killing daytime during Halloween.

Needless to say it's far better than Mario Sunshine.

(I don't know what made me think the thread title was close to anything approaching grammatical)

What do you mean? It's perfect English. That is what has happened to Poochy.
