Sir Arthur cometh.
I'd've preferred Red Arremer; his games were leagues better than the proper G&G series.
The also have dreadlocked Radd Spencer. Yeck. (That's a really convincing Robert Downy Jr. sound-alike)

Huh, I didn't expect Arthur at all. Very good choice.

"Get over here!"
Also not that you can fix it now, but you borked your second link. Here's what you meant to link to.

Shuma-Gorath is history's most adorable ancient abominable enemy of all life. In the MvC series he's like Invader Zim X Cthullu x a cyclopian tentacled Carebear. The only reason I can think of, is that they might have wanted to up the villain count a little. Dormammu is certainly a better representative of Marvel's magical villains than Blackheart and Shuma-Gorath - I still have no idea how those two made it into "Marvel Super-Heroes" and stuck around in the VS sequels.

yes, if you have full 5 stock bar and Phoenix dies she comes back as dark Phoenix like gill resurrection. Also she has seth like health.

It looks like they are trying to make Ironman the posterboy for the marvel side seeing as he's the one facing off against ryu on the cover. I guess it makes sense seeing as how he is the money maker these days. Spider-man or Wolverine has always felt a more appropriate match up though.
Also boo for no cyclops.

Where's Strider? No Strider = No fun. :(
And some Captain Commando would be muchly appreciated.

What about Mega Man? Not one incarnation of him to be seen, which is pretty fucking egregious considering he's more synonymous with Capcom than any character. Not even the lame-ass .EXE.
What's the world coming to?

His playstyle in the first two games was reviled, I think that's what happened to him.

...I didn't revile him. :(

Then change his playstyle. If that's asking too much of the user base to comprehend, use one of his other incarnations. Hell, use this freak (Why does he have a Voltron fist?)
Leaving him out is tantamount to Nintendo leaving Mario out of Smash Bros. Come to think of it, Mario's playstyle was revised to no-one's chagrin in Brawl. And speaking of Brawl, why in hell wasn't Mega Man in that?

Re: Prolific American Company I Do Care About vs. Capcom
Did anyone play Mario in Brawl? Except for Mario vs. Sonic, obviously.
Re: Prolific American Company I Do Care About vs. Capcom
I only played as Jiggly Puff.
Re: Prolific American Company I Do Care About vs. Capcom
Apparently, not enough people specifically asking for him.And speaking of Brawl, why in hell wasn't Mega Man in that?
I think Capcom is counting Zero as Mega Man for this game. Which makes sense, since four games have featured him using that name, and the original intent for the character was to be the more Japanesey Bishounen redesign of Mega Man in the first place. Then change his playstyle. Does this mean we can count on Mecha-Haggar?
Re: Prolific American Company I Do Care About vs. Capcom
So I bought this and it's fun. A little hard to see with the art style for some reason. Most backgrounds are dark and busy which makes darker characters really hard to see on my Non-HD tv. Gameplay wise, it's a blast. The only thing that irks me is the lack of a combo breaker (mega crash in TvC). Without there being a way to interrupt combos, it often feels like players just taking turns doing huge combos. I might as well put the controller down once my opponent gets going. It may be that I was spoiled in TvC as I don't think any similar mechanic was present in MvC1 or 2.

I've completely lost track of where Wesker was due to the background and his teleporting!Radrappy wrote:So I bought this and it's fun. A little hard to see with the art style for some reason. Most backgrounds are dark and busy which makes darker characters really hard to see on my Non-HD tv.
The game is fun, but what's with the lack of different play modes?

Re: Prolific American Company I Do Care About vs. Capcom
So I'm playing this on 360 due to some serendipity. I wanted it but am saving up for other things, my friend who owed me some money anyway bought it, decided he didn't want to get into a fighter right now, and offered it to me in exchange for exemption of said debt. Decent deal!
It's pretty fun stuff! And yeah, with all the 3D junk flying about, it can be difficult to concentrate on what you're supposed to hit. At least playing MvC2 there was that clear disconnect between the sprites and background. It's still cool though, and the consistent art style is great. I feel like Capcom is gonna charge folks through the roof for a bunch of different DLC characters, but I suppose if they aren't planning to make another sequel for some time it's a cool way of keeping things fresh.
The fan service is pretty phenomenal all around. There is a bunch of character banter, be it through VO or text(Deadpool in particular is a blast to listen to). Considering(I think) the last game just sorta made up shit for stages, it's cool to see all the stages actually based on some Marvel/Capcom location, if not a bit Smash Bros in nature.
Anywho, yeah my gamertag is Dasherino if anyone would like to play. I suck, so after Sentinel has mashed your face in for the hundredth time in a ranked online match you can fight me for a major ego boost!
