"I got a rock."

Post by cjmcray »

Another Halloween has come and gone. Anyone dress-up for the occasion this year?

I just wore a Joker costume like everyone else on earth did last year.

I drank a flagon of scrumpy and watched Flash Gordon. I've had worse nights.

I didn't wear a costume, but I did carve Tom Cruise's face into a pumpkin and brought it to the party I went to. It went down really well.

Photos when I get them off my housemate, since I took them with her camera.

I worked the cash register.

At least I'm getting plenty of candy after the fact...

I watched some people get drunk and then tried to calm my friend down because he thought his girlfriend hated him all of a sudden. She didn't. Then they made up twice.

Being an adult is great!

I played Majora's Mask -- which is a lot more creepy or unnerving than people give it credit for. It was good times.

Also, this thread name is awesome. I wish I could still find those sound files. ;P

That's not adulthood, that's high school.

Can we play I Spy the various cultural references in your room? I spy a Spongebob poster, a Dark Knight calendar, two pictures of Spike Spiegal, one of which appears to be fanart, an Invader Zim doll, a Tails action figure, an NES, a Bart Simpson action figure, a season of Family Guy, and what seems to be the arm of an Eggman action figure next the NES. I can't make out the rest, but if I had to guess, the action figure above Bart has something to do with Nickelodeon and the item above that is a piece of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 swag. There might be some Animaniacs DVDs there too.

The costume is nice, by the way.

We have a wiener! (Except for the Animaniacs part. Those are Harry Potter DVDs)

Thanks. I got it in the clearance section last November for a measly $7.

I got drunk and taped random pieces of duct tape to my clothes. Then I swaggered into my dorm hallway and came acrossed a large group of people, including young children and old folk. Somebody asked what I was supposed to be, and I loudly exclaimed "I AM DUCT-TAPE MAN!!!"

I hate my stupid and insignificant existance. Damn the holiday season.

Didn't go trick-or-treating. But I did go to a LAN party and played Left 4 Dead with drunk people, which made for some interesting things.

Hey, I dressed as Rorschach for my 21st birthday! It was a comic/cartoon character themed event. Can't find a good photo though.

Here's the pumpkin. Click for bigger.

Well, I did, but you don't get stoned to death for underage drinking over here. Or getting stoned, for that matter.

My costume this year. I looked even better with the mustache, but I didn't take any pictures with it.

I was behind a cash register in the dealer's room for Youmacon. After we closed, I got some pizza with my boss and coworker. Then I headed back to the con and hung out with some friends, a few who were drunk.

One of the drunk friends tried to start a fight with a random guy walking by. They argued for a little bit and when the guy started walking away, my friend did an Irish jig and the guy's friend said, "I like this guy. He gets it."

This was really the only Halloween that felt like it didn't happen at all. It just felt like a normal anime convention. I only had one piece of Halloween candy...
