Towards the end of this video....Its catchy OK! the only decent thing from the game

There is some animated Sonic scenes that I have never scene before. It says its from SegaSonic but I don't recall seeing that in the game at all. Anyone know where its from?

Those animated scenes are from commercials advertising the earlier Sonic games.

It's not even edited differently, it's just the ad. It's in Sonic Jam, or, y'know, YouTube.

That one scene of Sonic fighting a (I assume) Beeton atop a clocktower was kinda cool. It'd be a great idea for a 2D stage.

maybe is just the first sonic commercial, because it shows gameplay (sort of) of sonic 1

Man, if you watch that Sonic 3 commercial, it's kinda hard to argue that Sonic isn't "all about speed". They had us fucked from the get-go. You can't blame the Japanese, right?

It's not that it's hard to argue that it's not all about speed so much as it's hard to argue that it doesn't remain the game's biggest selling point, and is the easiest aspect to market.

I guess it's the speed that set it apart from other platformers. The problems occur when you try to substitute platforming (speedy or otherwise) for reaction-test race courses. BUT WE KNOW THIS ALREADY
