I've just finished watching a few playthrough videos of the games... man, I had no idea that a series based on a sentient little ship could have such a dramatic plot.

It's the Fight Club of games. People think it's just pure violence, but there's a bizarre plot behind that just blows your mind away!

I need to play Fantasy Zone someday, it looks so great. :(
Once I have enough money again to buy SwapMagic for PS2 I should import the FZ collection from Japan...

Has anyone else played Space Fantasy Zone by the way? I burned it onto a CD and played it on my PCE Duo-R a while ago, and quite frankly I cannot understand why they never released it, it's very cool.

I did. I don't remember if the game was playable till the end, but yeah, it was very cool. It's weird because it kind of made sense to mash-up Fantasy Zone and Space Harrier, since both games took place in the Fantasy Zone.

I'm not sure if posting this here will give it the attention it deserves, but on the subject of neglected Sega characters, Sega just decided to publish Alex Kidd's entire soundtrack.

I reckon that's pretty cool, though Alex Kidd was always a mixed bag for me. I loved the first game, but that's about it. Can't say any of the tracks ever stood out to me, though.

That is the most awesome random release I've ever seen. All tracks from Alex Kidd in Miracle World have a special place in my heart. Damn, I used to whistle them around all the time, me and my friends used to dance to the jan-ken-po song before we would throw "rock, scissors, paper".

Good times. Dorky good times.

Weird how the Sega Motorcycle Music History has no tracks from Hang-On.
