I'd love to see a Bat film built around Mr. Freeze. The ACTUAL Mr. Freeze, I mean... not whatever the hell that thing in the Arnold Schwarzenegger film was. He has a great story, and a distinct personality that would stand out as the... er... polar opposite of the various trickster villains.

But OMG, we can't let anything fantastic in our Batman movies, that would ruin the gritty real crime drama and risk making it into *gasp* a science fiction or fantasy film - and we all know THOSE aren't art!

Yeah, Freeze was awesome before the Kindergarten Cop came along and fucked things up.

I would like to see Mr Freeze as a villain if another director takes over after Nolan. (He doesn't seem to fit in Nolan's world) I think it would be a cool idea if the series starts off realistic, and with each passing movie, gets more and more fantastical until it is just like the comics/animated series.

For TDK2, I think the villains should be Joker, Harley Quinn (She busted Joker out of Arkham in the comics, and Nolan has expressed interest in her in the past)
She'd obviously need to be a more 'messy' take on the character to fit with this interpertation of The Joker.

Man, i almost wish Tim Burtons Batman series was still running, instead of Nolans. Those movies weren't afraid of mixing of grim n' gritty reality with utterly unrealistic, bizarre fantasy. There are so many not-yet-filmed Batman villains that could have have really shined in a Burton film but are so unrealistic that they would have to be changed from their comic book origins to a point where they're hardly even the same character anymore in order to be realistic enough to appear in a Nolan movie.

I think the Mad Hatter the way he comes of in Grant Morrisons stories (that is, as a schizophrenic madman who always gets Carrol's Wonderland books confused with reality, and also have a certain "is he a kid-fucker or isn't he?"-aspect to him) could have been a fantastic Burton-villain.

We could always bring back old classics like King Tut or Egghead. Or maybe even Dr. Tito Daka.

The penguin, The Ventriloquist and Scarface, and The Mad Hatter....

Umm...

The Ventriloquist and Scarface could be good, we could have the penguin tryng to control the Maffia and the Mad Hatter could apear in the middle of the movie...

While having run away, the Jokey manipulates those 3 villains...

I'd like DC to make a movie centered around The Question. His Justice League episodes were my favorites.

He's like a more pleasant Rorschach.

Croc was already in that anime spin-off that may or may not have been canon. Again, he was nowhere as good as in the animated series.

Cassandra Cain Batgirl would be kinda neat to see on the big screen.

So, what about that other billionaire superhero then?

Seriously, Iron Man 2 is looking pretty cool. The first film may have been no Dark Knight but it was still one of the better superhero films.

Well... what villain would you like for Iron man 2? The best is the hulk, but they dont have the guts to do Iron man vs Hulk!

Wait...

thats a great idea!

Yeah, they could even could team them up. It could be called The Avengers. They should be in production right now, even!

Someone get Arcade in touch with Marvel.

Arcade seems to be rather in synch with our good friend Dasher though, since Arcade is pretty much the only person here that tend to respond to Dashers posts without any irony or insults, and vice versa.

I don't think Nolan will be putting in Super Mutants or a little girl Robin or pretty much anything related to the actual Dark Knight Returns comic in this movie.

Could be worse, though.

He could add in cars that drive up walls, cities lit by neon lights in every corner, ice-skating mooks or Bat-credit cards.

Don't forget making every building in the city look like a statue of a gigantic naked muscley man.

I always saw Hulk more like a villain, how can you call a guy that goes mad and destroys a city an hero?

And What about the times the hulk goes on Rampage, can you really believe he never killed a civilian?
