We have a Artwork/Fanart thread, so I figured we should have one of these too.

I personally have grown out of writing fanfiction, but I still like to dabble in original fiction. Does anybody else write things online?
If not, I guess this topic is pointless, then. Anything goes here. It can be fiction as previously mentioned, a poem, or just a review
you wrote of a game, movie, book or something.

Please post LINKS to your written works, and not your actual work into this topic.

I guess i'll start things off. Lately, i've been writing a origin-story for some characters i've been drawing. (You may have seen
them in the Artwork thread) the story follows a robot who looks like a child, trying to find his place in the world. Eventually he
becomes a superhero/vigilante, but must also juggle school-life. The idea first came about in 2001. I intended for the character
to be my own comic-booky superhero. It's been a while since i've written anything, so feel free to laugh at it. I know it's not the
best piece of literature out there. There's certain elements I don't care for, such as the prologue, which is a bit preachy and overly
dramatic, and some pacing problems. (Be sure to have your pop-up blocker on, my site is riddled with ads. Ugh.)

I would have quite a few poems and sudden thoughts written down in txt files, but I don't have them up anywhere on the internet and it will stay like that as they're rather personal. :^

Okay, how about my ol' Ode to a Turtle. I did this essay in the 11th grade to be submitted to "This I Believe" (website/radio show to which inspiration essays are sent & read). The never contacted me, but who knows.

Very nice eassay thingy, Turtle Guy. I liked this line best.

Prose is not the same sort of art as drawing/painting/etc. This is the wrong forum for what you're looking for.
