Divine wind

Post by Green Gibbon! »

I'm trying to make a list of all the games where you fart.

Actually, it doesn't even have to be like an attack or anything. Any game you can think of where any inconsequential NPC or peon enemy farts is good enough.

Games licensed from other media don't count (so all those awful Ren & Stimpy games are out).

There's Boogerman, obviously.

I know Wario's got the fart attack in Smash Bros X, I assume it's something he'd already done in the series. I can't claim to be up-to-date with the Wario lineage.

Noby Noby Boy (which is what I was playing when this thought occured to me).

Way of the Samurai 2 has the best fart joke ever in any game ever. Ever.

The first boss in DJ Boy farts green ghetto negress mist.

I'm sure there must be some cutting of cheese in Conker, but I can't remember where it might be.

I don't remember any flatulence antics in Okami, but I do remember the piss and shit bomb attacks, which are cool enough to justify its mention. In fact, let's open this thread up to pissing and shitting too, which immediately qualifies Conker.

I'm also thinking Clay Fighter and/or Primal Rage or some other heinous 16-bit fighting game, but I'm not positive because I've blocked most of those memories.

It feels like there's something critical I'm missing.

there was a monkey in the genesis game primal rage that had a fart move. also there was a gag farting move in the ren and stimpy game. Also I think there was a fart move in the Beavis and Butthead game.

Man I rented a lot of crap when I was a kid.

I'm almost certain someone farted in Majora's Mask, but I know for sure it wasn't the hand-in-the-toilet-guy. I'm perplexed as to who though.

And I'm almost certain in Godhand if you hit a character in a certain way they'll fart, but it's been to long since I've played it so I can't be sure.

Earthworm Jim will take a leak as one of his idle animations. I don't think it shows anything, his back is to you and I don't believe the trail of urine gets drawn, but the noise is unmistakable.

There's no farting in the game itself (that I can recall) but SkullMonkeys does have the famous "Beans" cut scene:

There's a "power-up" in Bomberman Fantasy Race that causes your Louie/Tirra to stop on a dime and take a dump right there on the track.

I knew this thread was going to be about farting before I even clicked on it.

Fable II has a fart command -- and if you mess it up, you shit your pants.

Bo Rai Cho in Mortal Kombat Deception had a fatality which involved a giant lit match and a fart.

Really???? I played the everloving shit out of the the first one as a kid and he definitely doesn't in that. I'm pretty certain he doesn't in the sequel either.

I can't believe Abe's Oddysee wasn't in your initial list, GG! You're missing out.

That potty-monster thing in Majora's Mask makes a return in Oracle of Ages, in which he needs paper for... uhm... unspecified reasons...

Here I was, all excited, thinking that I'd finally have the chance to contribute something worthwhile, and Silv goes and ruins it for me by linking to the only one worth mentioning.

Gex has a boss that revolves entirely around farts.

Preceded by this exquisite gem from The Neverhood.

Also, wasn't there a fart attack in Sonic Riders, namely Eggman's offensive?

Well, Kisala from Rogue Galaxy has a special attack where she farts/poops in a sock and throws the sock at the enemy. Or maybe she's pulling a sock from out of her ass, but it looks like she's doing something with a sock and her ass.

Suikoden 1+2 had Peeing Boy statues where if you put them in the bath, the one under the Peeing Boy will be peed on. Does that count as piss?

The gorilla character in Ballz had a fart attack that stunned the opponent. Maybe that's the fighting game you were thinking of, Gibbs.

Positive he does it in the first as one of his (ridiculously many) idle animations. Win 95 version, specifically, maybe the others.

A few NPCs in EarthBound let one rip, and Pokey does so in battle to lower your attack power.

In the first GTAs you had burp/fart button for some reason.

It doesn't really count, but there's a movie poster in Chulip with the title of "Fart Woman". (You can also find miniature piles of poo in random trash cans, and sell them to the local shopkeeper.)

The South Park games all featured farting in some form or another.

Also, Pey'j's boots in Beyond Good & Evil are "fart-powered".

Oh, Olaf's special ability in Lost Vikings 2 is farting. And of course there's Johnny "Akiba" from the Metal Gear Solid series, as well as his grandfather in MGS3.

What's the Way of the Samurai 2 fart joke?
Delphine wrote:Fable II has a fart command -- and if you mess it up, you shit your pants.
Coincidentally, this is the only fun thing to do in the entire game.
