So the Wii Bionic Commando everyone was hoping for is actually a game called Spyborgs done in Team Fortress 2 style about a group of five cyborgs - a ninja, a rap artist, a skateboarder, a giant robot, and a direct parody of Bionic Commando himself fighting an army of cyborg goldfish. I'm intrigued. Although I'm pretty wary of rap artist and skateboarder being part of the cast because it feels like they're trying to shove way too much XTREME into the game.

I just want to see a video of the minigame where you strum the Wii-mote like a banjo to a pair of goldfish singing in a river of poop.

I feel like I'm being taken back to the late 80s/early 90s already...

Doesn't that sound familiar.Zeta wrote:Although I'm pretty wary of rap artist and skateboarder being part of the cast because it feels like they're trying to shove way too much XTREME into the game.
"DAMN! NOT THERE!"
Re: Robots vs Fish
A rap artist and a skateboarder? That's so cool! Being of the demographic age between 14 and 24, I can totally relate to that! I'm definetly buying that game.

I wanted to like it! But then there were turntables, and the phrase "with attitude," and I couldn't figure out if it was supposed to be a parody or not.

"With attitude" is impossible to say with a serious face.

I saw the name "Spyborgs" and thought it was based off some Saturday Morning Cartoon. It looks a little bit better than that, though the trailer has left me confused about how the gameplay will work out.
