Maybe my eyes are getting bad, but to me that model of Ryu looks more like a highly detailed drawing than a 3D model.Isuka wrote:

I was actually always struck by the feet in the art for SF Alpha. It's an area where Capcom's artists really shine.
I also think it's time Ryu got a new gi, those raggedy pants are just looking silly on him, like they were intended for children! In the other pics that have been released you can see Ken bought some new pants at least, they're all clean on the bottom. He probably bought the shirt pre-ripped though, he's kind of a poser like that.

Capcom run by foot fetishists: confirmedG.Silver wrote:I was actually always struck by the feet in the art for SF Alpha. It's an area where Capcom's artists really shine.
Seriously though, the feet were the first thing that caught my attention, the next being the package.
That being said, the toon shader they've got going there might not be the most convincing, but the model still looks really, really nice. I only wish the figures in the background were rendered in the same fashion, the contrast is somewhat jarring.

Mortal Kombat person, eh?Locit wrote:*still doesn't care*
I think Locit doesn't care about the fact that there probably won't be a Wii version, not for the game itself...
And who am I kidding, this looks totally FUGLY. No amount of animation will take out the fact that the art design (at least for these screenshots) is horrible.

I think the models look pretty horrid myself, but it doesn't matter considering this is only a big diversion to throw people off the scent of the real Street Fighter 4.
I read it in Toyfare magazine, so apparently it's true. I might watch it if it has a shower scene.any news about that Awful Chun-Li movie rumor?

But who knows, history likes to repeat itself.

The movie's thirteen years old. If you watch it without thinking "that's not right! Balrog works for Bison! Blanka isn't Charlie!" then you'll enjoy it. It's a fun movie. Some of the fun parts are intentional. A lot aren't. But regardless, it's fun.Dasher wrote:As a parody yes...thing is..they didnt think it was which makes it the more funnier? man, Im confused.
Well if its only Chun-Li and all the other characters are original it will suck like Catwoman. Meh, the movie is made by idiots who thought she is the main character because of this cover.

Same as the 1994 SF movie was inspired by this Cover.
