It looks like there's also a new PSP Vehicle battle game of some kind that will probably be lame but I'm going to buy it anyway.

Go on, tell me it's coming to the PS3. I need another reason to bitch about the price.

Yeah, it reads PlayStation 3 and [Bumpy Trot 2].

Let's Bitch Together!

Let's hope they fix the controls this time around!

Please.

So, uh, there was also apparently a Bumpy Trot party/board/puzzle game?

Gosh, I hope the music doesn't suck.

This explains the long silence, anyway. I was scared to death it'd been cancelled.

That's actually supposed to be Blokus Club. It's a French board game. It's also out on PSP.

As much as I hate to admit it, this gives me another reason to own a PS3.

That makes three so far.

There was nothing wrong with the controls, if you were a real man.

There is nothing manly about dual analog control schemes. The co-ordnation involved is astounding. Fifteen years of using control pads a certain way, and then you have to burn it all and teach both sides of your brain to think and operate independently. It's not happening.

I take it you never played Ape Escape, then?

Or Katamari Damacy. Although I guess I should say We Love Katamari, since I'm pretty sure you old worlders still haven't gotten the first game.

Ape Escape was fine. You only used the right stick to whack enemies with that net thing, and that was cool. You didn't have to grapple with both sticks just to get some sort of forward movement going. Katamari Damacy can fuck off.

Ah. Now I understand. You cannot handle the Katamari. You have a mangina.

What are the other two? Heavenly Sword is like 5 hours long, Lair apparently sucks, flOw is a neat mini game not worth a 600 dollar console. What am I missing, future titles?

Uhm, Katamari needs a little time to get used to it, but it definitely isn't a problem. I get somewhat dishoriented because you don't get to see much of the environment ahead of you, but that can be solved by raw memorization of the path.

And... well, I don't have many reasons to really want a PS3 either. I'm not in love with MGS, can live without Ratchet, I'm sure those FF XIII vids are just that and the games will be some form of "command + X button" piece of boredom, and KillZone 2 is just another shooter.
One possible reason for wanting it badly could be DMC 4, but even that one's looking a little lame (because of that Devil Bringer, not because I'm not controlling 'Cool Dude Dante') and it'll show in the 360 and PC too.

I remember when I checked out Katamari to see what the fuss was all about, I was underwhelmed by the game, mostly because I couldn't turn without thinking for a bit. Like I'd go "Okay, what do I have to do to turn left. I press the left stick down and the right stick up" and I'd do this every time I thought about how to turn. Then I shelved it for about half a year and picked it up again and I rolled around the level without having to think about it and then I fell in love with the game.

Yep. Little Big Planet and whatever Ueda and his team are working on next. So, it's not like I'm bursting with desire for the thing at present.

Also, the Katamari Damacy controls were one of the best parts of the entire package.

Like aso, this gives me another reason to own a PS3 in the future(assuming the sequel will come to the U.S.). Can't wait to see more of Bumpy Trot 2 at TGS.

I think you all got me a bit confused. I've never played Katamari Damacy. It can just fuck off.
