one of the weirder images in the world

It's Matt Damon on Arthur. Yeah. Makes sense to me.

I like how adding ears and a button nose somehow makes him fit in with Arthur. What it does is make Arthur, by comparison, look horribly deformed! Matt Damon has hair and muscles and a jaw - why don't you, Arthur?

That aardvark has met far more celebrities than any normal 8-year-old boy should.

That said, some of the fourth wall breaking Arthur does is pretty amusing. I remember an episode that parodied various adult cartoons like Home Movies, Beavis and Butthead, and South Park. That's pretty odd for a PBS kids' show!

I remember that episode. It was pretty funny, actually.

Aardvark Matt Damon's lips remind me of the c-di Zelda games. A lot.

Arthur is one of the few children shows I find to be quite enjoyable, and not insulting to any viewer's intelligence reguardless of age.

However. that image of Animal!Matt Damon is quite weird.

I'm feeling a little forced to make an "ARNOLD MAH BOIIIII" image macro, but Pop'll get angry.

I'm not sure if it's a good idea to stretch these people hands.

Agreed. I think the only other PBS show that had any sense of that beforehand was Wishbone, the stories the dog imagines, that is, not the main plot with him and his chubby owner.

Wishbone kicked several layers of arse. There was just something whimsical about a JRT that took you through his own adaptations of fine literary works and fairy tales.

I loved Wishbone. And that's saying something considering that I was so pissed to find out Ghostwriter reruns had gotten yanked in favor of it.

I was actually just watching this the other day and was surprised to find myself enjoying it.
