Yes, he did indeed do a Sonic CD dash.

The pictochat stage looks rather interesting, I wonder if the drawings will be random, or will they follow a set pattern?

So after countless years of waiting and hoping for him to perform it he has at last used it again!

From what I could tell, it's looks like one of his taunts.

Also, PictoChat stage is unexpected and awesome at the same time. (Having the extra option of DS-editing would rawk too.)

Wait, how many taunts do they have??

And Pictochat level would make this game revolutionary if you could create your own level.

If you wanna be picky, Famicom was where Miyamoto started his character creation idea.

But this is what I was referring to. The actual Mii design itself began as a DS project.

Also, Sakurai really should helm a Sonic game 1 of these days.

If theories and speculation are correct, three for a character (to match the cutsom messages you can make for Wi-Fi play).

If you mean that Stage debut or whatever thing, that project was also running in the N64 days and even as far back as the original NES.

Did any one see that Naka was at E for all? reports say that despite hovering about the smash booth he never went in. He either sucks at smash, is enraged that Sonic is in brawl, or was afraid that Sonic fans would slay him on the spot if they caught him.

Well Naka is a Nintendo fan so its not so surprizing, whats suprprizing is that Miyamoto and other Nintendo people actually like Sonic. As you can see in SSBB and Mario&Sonic they manage Sonic very well.

Isn't Mario and Sonic Sega's work?

Yeah, it is. And I bet part of the agreement with Sonic being in Brawl is that he has to be at least as good as Mario. So...

Sonic vs. Sonic vs. Sonic vs. Sonic

Seems the alternate costumes boil down to tinted shades of blue, and differently-colored shoes. Even still, dude, four Sonics.

Another YouTube video. Clearest audio I've heard yet of the victory theme - anyone's, for that matter. In this case, it's Sonic's, and it sounds almost IDENTICAL to the one from 2K6.

That being said, that finale was very much WHOAOMG.

I'm actually glad they went with that theme. Even if it's not the original 'act cleared' theme, it's been with the series for so long that it might as well be.

I would've preferred it if it were Sonic's original theme from the Genesis days (well, Sonic 1 and 2 at least). That has always been the most iconic theme for Sonic, in my opinion at least.

So looks like today's update means we can infer that King K. Rool is not in.

True, but at least this one is from the later Genesis days as well (Sonic 3 onwards).

And they don't have to pay Dreams Come True to use it.

Heh, I'll get you all the exclusive info when he's confirmed.

And the best thing would have been if they used Sonic CD's Japanese Zone Clear theme. And make Sonic wear an afro while dancing, Travolta style, disco ball and everything.

I thought it was a nice touch in today's video that Diddy's hat had the Nintendo logo.
