Wolf isn't an exact clone of Fox either.
UP B ATTACK
--------------------
Fox: fire fox. A charge followed by a flaming dash in the air.

Wolf: seems like a jetpack. NO CHARGE, just a sudden blast in any direction. This is comparable in difference to Luigi's up B and Mario's. Similar, yet different.

B ATTACK
----------------
Fox: blaster. It fires lasers at rapid speed. The lasers are thin and red and travel very fast.

Wolf: TOTALLY different animation. The lasers are nothing like Fox's. In fact, this move is more like Zero Suit Samus's stun gun. This move is actually not a copy of Fox's blaster at all. The animation is different, the effect is very different. This is a new move.

SIDE B ATTACK
---------------
Fox: Fox illusion. A speedy horizontal dash.

Wolf: Has a similar move, except it goes at a slight 25degree angle. This is indeed a "cloned" move.

DOWN B ATTACK
-------------------
Fox: reflector. It's blue and hexagonal. Hits opponents away.

Wolf: DIFFERENT ANIMATION. Red and has blades that fan out on either side. This probably has much greater offensive power, yet nobody has managed to land it at close range yet. Seems unique enough to be considered a new move.

FORWARD SMASH ATTACK
--------------------
Fox: a leaping heel kick in Tae Kwon Do style. Moves Fox forward a bit.

Wolf: DIFFERENT ANIMATION. A lunging palm strike that covers a great deal of horizontal difference and has substantial lag afterwards, yet starts quickly. This is a totally new move, and is like a cross between Captain Falcon's Fsmash and the illusion move.

UP SMASH ATTACK
--------------------
Fox: flip kick. Covers a semi-circle above Fox's head starting in front of him.

Wolf: DIFFERENT ANIMATION. A jumping upside-down dropkick in the Capoera style that hits above him in a single motion, covering a lot more range above him and slightly to the side as his legs spin into position. Once again, massive range and is a totally unique move.

DOWN SMASH ATTACK
------------------
Fox: a split kick that hits on either side of Fox equally. Fast with lag.

Wolf: DIFFERENT ANIMATION. Wolf swipes low with his claws, hitting in front of him first and then behind. A unique move that's similar in element to Link's down smash.

FORWARD TILT ATTACK
------------------------
Fox: does a quick roundhouse kick in front of him in Tae Kwon Do style.

Wolf: DIFFERENT ANIMATION. Wolf claws at the opponent with a swing of his arm. Lots of lag and it seems almost like a smash attack in its speed and power. Once again...a unique move.

More sonic stickers than you think, we could be seeing all if not many of the character art from Sonic channel as stickers!

Green Hill Zone!

As far as I can tell, the only "extras" in this level are:
* Players who hit the goal post/start marker/whathaveyou can "set it off".
* Tails and Knuckles randomly run by in the background.

Also, Sonic Boom is apparently confirmed as a song. Ugh.

So the Havok engine WAS used in the game. Interesting...

As corny as it is, I've always liked Sonic Boom. Kind of disappointed that it's straight up the same version from the original game. But then, so is Delfino Plaza. I wonder if You Can Do Anything is in there, too?

On a side note, is it that hard to shut up while someone's recording video?

Man, what this means is that the copyrights are so difficult to get for that cranky Sonic CD "Toot toot Sonic Warrior" Japanese singer that they had to get the crummy Sonic boom.

But hell, Atleast Japan suffered with us this time.

Its possible, I guess its a good thing to be optimistic in this game. :PB:

It can be a hidden CD or something...Uhh...I guess we will see.

Eventhough im extremely happy at how brawl is turning to be a nintendorgasim there is a few things that could have been included, they still have a chance but i dont think so

-Amy AT Shows up and bashes characters with her mallet
-Robotonic AT Hovers across screen like in sonic 1 with giant ball that randomly swings left and right
-Casino stage of some sort
-As you see kirby has various colors like ssb and melee but i also saw screens of him with his "classic" look seen here http://media.wii.ign.com/media/748/7485 ... 66014.html his eyes and cheaks are pre-2000 also wario has his classic clothes from wario land link has an alternate dark form etc, i think that sonic should be link kirby and have a classic look too you know the chubbier, squattier black eyed sonic from 1991-1998
-ALSO bomberman as a character nintendo and hudson has worked closely together on mario parties and nintendo even published some bomberman titles such as wario blast featuring BOMBERMAN. they published ones from 1995 until 1999 for gb, vb, gbc and n64. so the chances were good. PLUS here is what his stange and fighting styple could have been like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lP2gdBLJ ... re=related that is from a japan only fighting game from hudson, which featured solid snake, optimious prime, the kid from beyblade, bomberman simon belmount etc :ring:

I can only imagine the infinite ways this game will kick ass with added sad philosophy and shitty dialogue preceding every battle against Snake in Shadow Moses.

The Green Hill stage's a little lame, and Sonic Boom being there is quite a turn-off. As was a piece of unholy aural poison like "Sonic X theme" taking Cosmic Eternity's place in True Blue, but you can't always have it your way, I guess.

Also, I expect a proper opening sequence for the American and European versions. This one blows big time.

Spencer Nielsen and Richard Jaques are listed near the end of the credits. Neat.

Jacques has penned both some of the most gorgeous instrumentals as well as the worst vocal tunes for the series. I'm afraid.

The soundtrack to Sonic R is the best part of the package. (Which, in a sense, isn't saying much, but still...)

Anyhow, Dojo update today:
Sakurai explaining the differences between Ness and Lucas, as well as (shocker!) how to unlock him.

I still think that Brinstar was a terrible choice for a level to port, as Norfair is basically the same exact thing. Honestly, I'd have rather seen an N64 stage, or perhaps my personal favorite, Mushroom Kingdom II from Melee, but... (Oh, sure, I can recreate it with the stage builder, but without all the SMB2-ness, it just won't be the same.)

I'm quite disappointed that there isn't a Lost Woods or Dark World stage for Zelda. I wonder why they didn't go for one of the areas that pops up throughout the series like Kakariko Village, Hyrule Castle Town, Death Mountain, Lon Lon Ranch or Lake Hylia.

No N64 stages? Disappointing. I was hoping for the return of Hyrule Castle or Saffron City...

Wait, no N64 stages? As in no classic Dreamland or Kongo Jungle? What the hell?

Smash Bros for the Virtual Console soon. The only reason to get it really would be nostolgia and the 9 original stages. Actually, considering how little memory it would take up, if any DLC is released for Brawl it will probably be an N64 classic stage pack. But Nintendo's never done DLC for a game before, so don't hold your breath.

Zeta, I think you're 100 percent right about that one. I'd been wondering why there were no n64 stages too, but of course... the Virtual Console! Of course they're going to release the original on there. It's so obvious in hindsight...

If anyone is interested, this video of someone scrolling through the soundtest reveals the titles of some (possibly all) of the Sonic songs in the game:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=KGrJTgTZm2g

You can see them flash by around 2:30. No way of knowing whether they are the originals or remixes, but the titles that I caught were:

Green Hill Zone
Angel Island Zone
Scrap Brain Zone
Emerald Hill Zone
Sonic Boom
Open Your Heart
Live and Learn
Seven Rings in Hand

That's a lot of music! (Too bad about that last one, though. I wonder if it's the Crush 40 version... that would explain why it turned up on the True Blue album along with the Angel Island remix, after all...)
