Having badniks roaming the stage would be awesomeness, specially if you can destroy and save the animal inside! hilarious to see Mario doing it.

They should do a vertically scrolling one based on everyone's favorite part of Labyrinth Zone. :D Actually a stage where you were underwater and had to collect air bubbles to stay alive would be sorta cool?

Maybe it's just me, but I really liked Labyrinth Zone! I thought it was an interesting change in pace, though I wasn't terribly fond of those fire-shooting gargoyle things.

Might as well:

Since they've got Yuzo Koshiro and everything, how about Bridge Zone as a scrolling stage? Complete with: badnik hazards, raging river below (ala Jungle Japes), crumbling bridges, item monitor crates, those see-saw springs, and occasional stops for Eggman to attack in that sub.

I think Monday's update prevents this week from being "lame", honestly. It's not "ZOMG SONIC" megaton, but a level creator's an extremely good announcement nevertheless.

Friend Codes, on the other hand...

They didn't even put up most of the entrances. The only one I was really curious about is the Pokemon Trainer's. Does Charizard fly him in? Dammit.

Anyways, here are all of them from the people who played the demo:

Mario: Hops out of a Pipe.
Donkey Kong: Breaks out from inside a barrel.
Link: Appears from inside a small tornado, a la the warp from Wind Waker.
Samus: Appears from a Save Station a la Super Metroid.
Fox: Drops down from an Arwing that flies by.
Pikachu: Pops out of a Pokeball.
Diddy Kong: Breaks out from inside a barrel.
Pit: Descends from a golden light from above.
Meta Knight: Cape appears in a twirl and then the rest of him emerges from it.
Ike: Warps in with some light and some sort of rune on the ground.
Peach: Appears out of nowhere with a bunch of hearts, holding her umbrella.
Yoshi: Hatches from an egg.
Sonic: Spin jumps in and gives a thumb's up.
Bowser: Appears from an inferno.
King Dedede: Is carried into the fight by a quartet of Waddle Dees.
Lucas: Rides in on Mr. Saturn's teatable.
Ice Climbers: Carried in by their condor.
Snake: Unveils himself with a hologram device.

Actually the Tornado dates as far back as the original Legend of Zelda.

Yeah, but in the original Smash Bros., they had him doing something like what Pit does now.

Now that would be obscure.
And both less-than-hypothetical Labyrinth and Chemical Plant stages would rock if they included vertical handles to latch on and move through... and the inclusion of assorted item boxes would be seriously epic, by the way.

I still think there will only be one stage per Third Party, but as other have said before, the two most iconic Sonic stages are Green Hill and Casino Night.

I'm wondering how they could top this game, considering the only Assist Trophy so far I'm lamenting not being playable is maybe Advance Wars and Little Mac. Unless they get more Third Party characters for the next one from Konami and Sega after this one's success and decide to add in NiGHTs, Aiai, Samba, Chuchu and Kapukapu, Amitie, Billy Hatcher, Axel, Akira, Opaopa, Simon Belmont, Twinbee, Power Pro-kun, a Moai head, Goemon, Pyramid Head, Sparkster, Yugioh, Frogger, Kid Dracula, and Django to the next game. : p

Eh, you get the idea. They could add characters till the end of time. But if they really are going all out on Brawl, there wouldn't be anything to add besides more characters, so there wouldn't be much of a point to anymore games.

'Cause, y'know, The Armageddon will come upon us three months after Brawl's release date, so they'd better stuff it with as many characters as humanly possible.

Minor stuff from playtesters: Pit apparently plays like a version of Link that can fly. His moves are ability to fly in any direction, his arrows of course, a spinning blade attack, and using his mirror shield to reflect enemy damage. Basically, his moves are entirely designed around the three sacred treasures from Kid Icarus: Mirror Shield, the Arrow of Light, and the Wings of Pegasus with the ability to use his bow as blades added.

I was hoping for it to be a Petey Piranha-like boss with Fox fighting Rayquaza directly.

From what we've seen of the Adventure mode so far, I have to say I suspect there will be eight stories - one for each of the original N64 characters (Mario, Yoshi, Pikachu, DK, Fox, Samus, Link, and Kirby) which will intertwine and change up sidekicks as it goes along. Sort of like Sonic Adventure.

I still hate Fox's face. He looked badass in the SNES and the N64, but since the GameCube he looks like a little bitch. Diddy Kong also has the most unexpressive face of all time, but he was like that in the SNES, so that's forgivable.

I don't really mind Fox's new face, since it makes him look more like Inari's foxes, which he was based on.

You have to admit though, it was an amusing video, ugly face or not. I never really cared much for any of Fox's character designs other than N64 and Melee.

How long before we see Kirby sporting Soap shoes and Light-Speed-Dashing all over the place?

So, if Sonic gets the racoon power-up... he'd technically become a furry in a fursuit?
