Do the prices have to be comparable? Because I'm eyeing those Animaniacs.

The Animaniacs set was about $35, but I hardly watch it, so if you have an item you'd like to trade that's in the $20-$25 range, or something that was in my 'things i'm looking for..' list, I'll let you have the set for it.

I'm not really looking to make money or anything. I just wanted to get rid of the stuff I don't use, and replace it with stuff I would use.

Would anyone want Bloodryne (Gamecube, case is well worn, game is in good condition), Geist (Gamecube, case is practically brand-new, game is in great condition), or Splinter Cell (Gamecube, case has some sticker residue and game is in good condition)?

Oddly enough Splinter Cell is the only one of the three I didn't finish playing through.

FREE ARCHIE COMICS

In short, I'll send the packages listed below to whomever posts here asking for them until the total value of what I've spent reaches $420, and maybe beyond that if somebody really wants something. If you'd like to understand the reasoning behind this strange offer read the next paragraph. Otherwise, skip ahead to get free stuff.

I've decided that I want to read the comics. That's not a problem because I have scans of all of them burned on CDs. I've also decided that I want to pay for them. I debated exactly who I was going to pay, Archie, someone on ebay, or just some charity that I'd throw the money at and declare myself morally even. I decided on Archie. That's not a problem either. The problem is that I don't want to own the physical comics. I just want to read them once and then, most likely, try to forget that I read them. I considered sending the money to Archie as a gift, but I've heard that such things can cause more trouble for companies during tax time than they're worth. I also considered buying the comics and donating them to a charity, but that's surprisingly laborious. So that's where you come in! I'll buy the comics, thereby paying my dues, and just have them shipped to you! Their shop doesn't have all the comics right now though, so I calculated the average price per issue from what they're offering and figured that I'd owe something like $420 if I bought everything.

Below are the packages available. The most I'm allowing one person to take is 1 of every package ($165.26 worth of stuff). Post what you want here and PM me a shipping address when you have time. Again, the prices next to them are what I'M paying, not you, and once the total reaches $420 the offer ends.

Sonic The Hedgehog: Beginnings $10.95
Sonic The Hedgehog "ARCHIVES" - Volume #1 (1-4) 7.49
Sonic The Hedgehog "ARCHIVES" - Volume #2 (5-8) 7.49
Sonic the Hedgehog 1998 Collector Set (54-65) 15.79
Sonic the Hedgehog 1999 Collector Set (66-77) 15.79
Sonic The Hedgehog 2004 Collector Set (129-141) $20.99
Sonic The Hedgehog 2005 Collector Set (142-154) $20.99
Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 Collector Set (155-167) $20
Knuckles the Echidna 1997 Collector Set (1-7) 8.99
Knuckles the Echidna 1998 Collector Set (8-19) 15.79
Sonic X Original Mini-Series (1-4) $6.00
Sonic X 2006 Collector Set (includes the original mini series) (1-13) 20.99

Note to GHZers outside the US: Their online store says customs and duties fees get paid on delivery, so you'll have to take care of that yourself.

Is nobody reading this topic, or are these comics really that bad?

From what I've seen, most likely! (The comics are bad part, not the reading part)

But, as I actually have yet to read it or see it (and I do have something of a fondness for Sonic X) I'd like to pick out the

Sonic X Original Mini-Series (1-4) $6.00
Sonic X 2006 Collector Set (1-13) 20.99

The mini series is actually just the first 4 comics of the Sonic X 2006 collection. I should note that in the list.

I would take you up on your offer, but I pretty much have everything you're offering. (2000-2003 is where I'm missing a lot of comics).

Then again, it isn't as if I have a spotless collection anyway. I have gaps between 116-121, 121-125, 127-131, etc etc. Lots of little holes, not many big holes.

Aaand I have nothing to really add to this topic (which is why I haven't been posting much in general).

I'd like the ARCHIVES Volume 2 and Beginnings comics for the sake of retroness, the rest probably aren't worth the physical space they'd take up. Though I'd have to ask, is Beginnings old comics(like the archives series) or just some new crap they're doing?

The Beginning is the original STH #0-3 miniseries. I think it's exempt from Archives, but I don't know.

Frieza, I don't know if you're preaching to the right crowd. You might want to try other forums too, if you haven't already. Anyway, I personally already own most of the Archie series, so I have no interest.

Sonic X issues 1 through 4 are rather lame. The series really started getting good at issue 5, and had the supurb story "No Thanks For the Memories" in issues 10 and 11.

Any chance you'll be doing this again at a later date?

Really? They haven't charged anything to my card yet or contacted me in any way. I wonder if I could have entered completely fake billing info and still gotten the comics delivered.

I don't plan on giving away Archie comics again, but if I find myself wanting to get rid of something else you guys would be interested in I'll probably be back.

So I've been reading these. One of the reasons I wanted to check them out was because some kids I knew read them back in elementary school and I was curious about what I'd missed. I payed attention whenever they listed the names of readers who wrote in to see if there was anyone I knew. Unfortunately, the only name I recognized was this nerd (I know it's been posted before, but the new guys should experience this humiliation as well):

Image
The first time I spotted it was kind of novel. After a while it became like a Where's Waldo, because he's in almost every issue in 97.
Image
Apparently he lost his sanctity that year. I suspect the Internet was involved.
