The men (and women) behind the mask- episode 2.

Post by Brazillian Cara »

Many things can happen in a year and a half- a beard, puberty, eternal scars, weight gain, find a friend with a digital camera, etc. So, to give a chance to regular posters that weren't here during the Abyss-worthy prequel, and to give those who already had posted real life "self-portraits" an opportunity to show their current selves, here's what it's here- the second photo-showing topic. And now, a furry guy:

I find these threads highly endearing, for some reason.

Oh Cara, you look so adorably Brazillian! Here's me looking suitably condescending and, um, 'sandy':

Endearing doesn't begin to cover it. I was absent for the first one, anyway.

I have no recent photos of myself readily available. I'll try and get one up tomorrow or by Saturday.

This is me four or five years ago...

A little more recent...this was taken about three weeks ago for art class. I wish they'd given me more warning, though. I look too angry or bored.

jenkins has a blond mustache. And plasticwingsband looks like Mark Cohen from RENT. I love that movie.

Damn, not a single girl has posted a picture yet. Somehow I'm not surprised. I'll have to get a picture of myself up.

Cara, you look almost exactly like a friend of mine, only curly.
I must get a camera.

I wore this to a friend's wedding about two weeks back. As you can see by my goofy face, I don't pose well for cameras.

Hee, this is great. Sorry about the size of my picture...if I can get a better picture, I'll replace my first one with it.

Yi, you look sort of like one of my section leaders in marching band, except with black hair.

DEAR GOD RICK WAKEMAN HAS BEEN POSTING AMONG US FOR 7 MONTHS UNDER THE NAME JENKINS

Although, to be fair, it's mostly the shirt combined with the hair.

Self depreciation is funny to a point. Then it becomes incredibly tiresome.
Also, classy tie, Neo Yi!

Since I know nothing about music, I'm going to have to ask...is this a good thing, or a bad thing? One of my friends consistently references the Beatles when I wear that shirt, but I've never heard Rick Wakeman before. Please explain.

EDIT:

Holy shit, you're right.

I think Jenkins may have dethroned J-man as the board's sexiest member, but that may just because I'm a slut for guys with long hair.
