A serious question for Del (no, really)....
I'd I.M. this to you, except you've probably still blocked me; this is understandable, because just about everyone here are assholes who would sell their own mother for an uncensored copy of "G-Taste".
Come on, admit it, you can never have enough "G-Taste".
Del, I know you're up on feminism more than I am (you'd think as an ardent, dyed-in-the-wool liberal I'd be better with this, but I think as a man I have some kind of "Scrotum Limitation Clause"), so I figured I ought to ask you something; Just who is Camile Paglia? I mean, I know she's a feminist, but I'm curious as to what kind of feminist she is. After all, there are some feminists who are Liberal in their viewpoints, who are in favor of equality on just about everything, who are into high fashion, high-society, and subscriptions to "Playgirl", and then there are some who come off as little more than misandrists (from what I've heard, Ms. Paglia falls into the latter catagory, but then I haven't heard much. I do know from a mid-'90s issue of "T.V. Guide" that she apparently loves a "Psycho Bitch from Hell" archetype/character on some network soap opera, but I guess that's about the same as thinking of Tony Soprano as the masculine ideal; either way, it's freaking stupid).
I figured I could've gone to Wikipedia to get this information, but I since you hang out with a bunch of straight men while online (in addition to being a feminist of the fashionable/sociable/Playgirl-oggling variety), you'd have a better handle on the general views and whatnot that surround Ms. Paglia; in other words, your my litmus test. Like it or not, we share oppinions on a lot of things, so I have a feeling that if you don't like her, I probably wouldn't like her, either.
And besides, "G-Taste". ;)
