Get to Hell

Post by jenkins »

I'm pretty sure I heard Eggman say this in the Japanese version of Metallic Madness Bad Future, not to mention a host of other bizzare phrases, as seemed to be the general trend. Just wondering, though, did anyone else pick up on this? Is there somewhere where I can find lyrics to it and the other Japanese Sonic CD songs?

If for some reason you haven't heard the song, the whole soundtrack is right here.

Oh, and I found this elsewhere on the site. Kicks ass.

Wait, so Sega was already using the word "Hell" in Sonic games before Shadow?
... I'll leave the joke to you.

Well, it's not really the whole soundtack because none of the past songs are there. Speaking of which, does anyone know where they can be found?

It's alright, no need to apologise.

Cheers for that Ritz, I had already looked at SonicStuff's OSTs but didn't notice their game rip section below it. Now I think I'll download the Chaotix and US Sonic CD soundtrack while I'm at it. And- for when I'm finished downloading those- anyone know where a rip or OST of Sonic and Knuckles can be found?

Thanks but I was kind of hoping to get the original versions of the songs (never was keen on the PC soundtrack). Any idea where I can find them at?

Just go back to the "S" section...they have the originals of all the tunes from Sonic 3 (not sure about Knuckles, though) in the section "Sonic 3 Original Soundtrack."

On a different note, did anyone follow the other link I put up? If so, can you recognize the tune?

I didn't download it, but based on the URL, I think I just might be able to figure it out.

Hey... the Great Mighty Poo song is frigging censored! Is it like that in the actual Xbox version of the game, or did they only do that for the crummy soundtrack?

...huh? It wasn't censored on the N64, why the hell would they censor it for the X-Box?

I'm guessing they did it to the soundtrack only. Either that, or somehow Nintendo is more raunchy than Microsoft.

The actual game is censored.
Q: Why is it that there is no known way of uncensoring the Single Player mode as far as we know? The N64 version got away with a lot more expletives than the Xbox version. (darkmark8)

Chris: If we allowed the swearing to be uncensored, many of the big retailers would not have sold the game. It is as simple as that. We had it all set up and working, but we had to remove the code when the decision came in.

Man, Rare's turned into an absolute trainwreck. There's no way retailers would refuse to carry the game unless it was rated AO (or I guess the PEGI equivalent), and the original N64 version was M with the "shits" and "twats" intact. What about the pissing disco and the balls of steel and all that?

By the way, Kameo sucks.

Rare has always sucked. The only thing they ever made that was worth a damn was Donkey Kong Country 2.

Ahh, so I'm not the only one who enjoyed this over the other DKC installments. Also of slight related note, Donky Kong 64 sucked.

The Genesis Version was AWESOME, although the Game Gear one, which I have, was alright.

Rare was on top of their game from the NES era to the N64. Battletoads is probably their finest hour (though depending on my mood, I might argue for Banjo-Kazooie), but they had alot of neat, lesser-known stuff like Snake Rattle 'n Roll and Digger T. Rock. They utterly derailed after about DK64, though. I think Grabbed by the Ghoulies is their all-time low, though Kameo is close (it surpasses Ghoulies only because it doesn't derive its title from a British testicle joke).

I'm just bitter because their Donkey Kong revamp has stuck so well.

Bah. Bring back Donkey Kong Jr and Pauline and the girders and the crocodile bear trap thingies and all that crazy crap I say.

Ok, so Microsoft forced them to censor and edit a game so they could release it next to BMX-XXX and The Guy Game?

This makes me laugh. Now I'm almost sorry I sold my N64. Almost.
