Actually, come to think of it, how many guitars does Baba have?
Surely with that much money, one could afford to buy some of the books, I recommend 5th Elephant and Thud myself.
But they're the only one's I've read.

Speaking of Discworld a TV adaptation of Hogfather is on the way featuring David Jason as Albert.

Let's hope it doesn't suck.

No fucking way. No fucking actual way. I have no idea how to take this. On one hand I'm excited, on t'other I'm wondering why Pratchett is suddenly dropping his "anti-movie" standpoint.

They need Christopher Lee back as Death.

Sadly, I am not a bibliophile. I have a library card, and that's about as far as it goes. However, I will probably pick up Discworld after I'm done with Alas, Babylon.

Since I discovered the internet (2 days??), I've become less and less of a bibliophile...but I still use it to make the vast majority of my posts in libraries.

So you make the vast majority of your library posts in libraries? Where do you make these other library posts?

Wooooops...redundancy!

Actually, that's chock full of grammatical errors, so...

I still use one of the two local libraries to make most of my posts.

Repair'd

Actually, there've already been a couple of Discworld animated TV adaptions. I know of at least Wyrd Sisters and Soul Music.

I saw the Soul Music adaption myself, and while it was alright, I really didn't like how they handled Susan. They had her whining and crying when confront Death towards the end about her parents' death, while in the book she was described as unemotional and detached from the scene.

Yes, I know (hence the mention of getting Lee back as Death). I have Soul Music on DVD, which is why I mentioned Pratchett's view on movie adaptations; in the extra features there's an interview where he basically says he has no desire to see a Discworld film made.

Agreed on the Susan point, and I also think Nobby and Colon could have been handled better, even though it was only a cameo.

I just realized that a decent chunk of all the posts made on this board are shit like this. Where we just waste half a page with posts about how useless the post before ours is stupid. I'm not saying this is good or bad, just pointing it out.

And somehow, we manage to create a massive pile of useless posts just like that. Incredible, lol.

And anyways, you should definitely pick up Soul Music. I did, and it was the second best DVD purchase I've made in the past week.
