Proof of Phil Collins singing in a metal band.

Didn't Phil also fill in at one point for the drummer in Led Zep? I thought I either heard that on the radio at one point or from you Baba, maybe you can confirm it for me?

You're right. Phil drummed for Zeppelin at Live Aid back in '85, and so did Tony Thompson. But other than that instance, the only drummers that Zeppelin have ever set their collective eye upon have been from the Bonham family.

Did he really? Wow, guess you learn something new everyday. Thanks for the confirmation and info Baba. Also have you ever heard Sonata Arctica, and if so what are your takes on them, as I'm heading to one of their concerts tomorrow and am just wondering if you know what their live ratings are.

I find Sonata Arctica to be enjoyable... if you're into that kind of thing, which I am not. I can't vouch for their live performances, but I hear that live, they sound like a bizarre mix of Dream Theater and Europe, which sort of makes sense.

Ah... well thanks anyways. I suppose I'll comment more on this when I get back from tomorrow's concert.... that is, if anyone wishes to hear of such things.

Ah, sounds remotely entertaining I guess.

Anyways now officially back from the SOnata Arctica concert and damn are they good. I mean usually you expect a little leeway, because quite a few people just don't seem to have as much talent live, but Sonata hit everything right on the mark. Twas much fun, and it's a pity I didn't stay long enough for autographs. *shrugs* oh well...there's always next time.

I met Billy Martin of Good Charollette once. He said I played too complicated.

Also, I've met J.T. Woodruff of Hawthorne Heights. I broke his nose.

On a related note, In Through The Out Door is the worst Zeppelin album known to man. Jesus, what a piece of shit.
